Immy came in needing a major overhaul on her hair. She had really patchy highlights and super orange ends, creating a complete mismatch. I knew I needed to start by evening out the canvas. First, I created a natural level six all over to build a fresh foundation.
For the root area, I used 6-0 with a touch of 5-4-1, mixed with 1.9%. On the lengths and ends, I worked with 6-0 and 7-8-9, a cool violet tone to neutralize the warmth and balance everything out beautifully.
Next, I moved on to my specialized full-head foilage service for a seamless blend. I left out the face frame since it had already been lightened and was a little compromised. Instead, I focused on everything from the face frame back, using full-head foilage and tip-outs to achieve a multi-dimensional look.
To finish, I color-melted the entire head with Wella Color Touch. There was no need for a root melt, so I used 5-1 and 10-8-1 with 1.9% for a flawless, natural result.
