The Life Capoeira Live - Mestre Carlo

Join us on World Book Day, for a very special event with Mestre Carlo as he reads from and discusses his book "In Search of Mandinga - encounters around the world", with a chance to ask him questions too.

Mestre Carlo's stories range from his introduction to samba at age 14 by his father, to the day he met his capoeira mestre; from a game he shared with the most iconic mistres in Salvador Da Bahia, to his first international trip as a capoeirista to the fascinating island of Martinique; from the making of an authentic candomble drum, to a spiritual journey to the Wirikuta desert in Mexico; from the unforgettable moment of receiving the title mestre, and much more.

The event will happen over Zoom, and if you wish, you can purchase your book (released February 16th) at the same time as your ticket.
