Sadly, due to unforeseen circumstances, Groundhog Radio has had to shut up shop 😩
Because of this The Friday Night Mix Up no longer has a home…at the moment!
I want to say a massive thank you to Tony Bingham for having the faith in me to do my weird little show every Friday 😊
I don’t know if the show will be picked up by another station at some point, but I will keep you up to date…wibble 😊

Yes, it’s that time again…I’m out for three hours so I can play you some classic tunes from 7 tonight!
On tonight’s show there is a quartet of songs played on twin neck guitars (yes that Zeppelin song is finally getting an airing!) Also on tonight’s show are songs from Marillion, The Damned, 10cc, Rush, Half Man Half Biscuit, Snow Patrol, Pink Floyd & a trio of epics ending with some classic Muse!

Despite covid, The Friday Night Mix Up will be back with the first new show on Friday! I’m still a bit groggy & my voice is still a bit croaky…but that’s a good enough reason to have less chat & more music…isn’t it?

So, from 7pm I’ll be crashing into 2022 with songs from The Manic Street Preachers, the S*x Pistols, The Clash, The Who, The Alarm & many other bands starting with “The” as well as songs from Rainbow, Bad Company, Van Halen & even Tenacious D!!!!

As a special treat, instead of closing the show with one epic song, I’m gonna end the show with two epic songs! So, tune in from 7pm this Friday because The Friday Night Mix Up is back…only on Groundhog Radio

I’m getting excited about this week’s show, completely by accident I’ve put an unplugged section in the first hour! So expect some Led Zeppelin, Rory Gallagher, Be-Bop Deluxe & Lyndsey Buckingham in the first hour alone! Plus the first request I’ve had (thank you Martin Jarvis)…plus there’s all the usual stuff in the second hour & I’m ending the show with a trio of piano based songs including some classic Meatloaf & Gun’s ‘n’ Roses!
