We’re on a mission!

To date, we have built 91 wells helping to provide clean water to 61,405 people, and this year we going for our 100th!

‘To achieve great things, two things are needed: a plan and not quite enough time.’ ~ Leonard Bernstein

Only this time, we’ve got time.

Our collective consciousness is aligned with the communities we support through our Have a Drink on Us Campaign, which raises funds to construct wells in parts of Africa & India to provide clean, safe water to the communities that need it most.

Currently, around 771 million people in the world do not have access to safe water. This is roughly one in ten of the world’s population.

We’re working to change that.

Last Night a DJ Saved My Life is passionate about bringing clean water to those currently living without it.

The concept is simple – clean water for all.

One year, one mission, one hundred wells.

Please get involved if you can; we’d love to hear from you whether you want to fundraise, join us, or share this mission with your community.

Stick it On is BACK!

Certain things in life are legendary and in Brighton and Hove ‘Stick it On’ was just that - LEGENDARY.

We are OVER THE MOON that the mighty Stick it On is back after 10 years and throwing a party in the city to support our mission to build 100 wells in 2023!

Stick It On returns on 1st June 2023 at Brighton Fringe to allow anyone to get behind the decks and spin 15 minutes of their favourite tunes to rock the dance floor.

NO DJ EXPERIENCE NECESSARY as the Stick It On crew will guide you to DJ Superstardom.

Share your love of the songs that make you want to get a wiggle on, cut some shapes and dance like no one is watching.

This is a rare opportunity to BE THE DJ. What three songs would you choose? From pop to hip hop, dance to disco and soul to rock n roll. Strictly only dance floor fillers, no dance floor killas in a night that loves a 'Choon' and unashamedly embraces a Britney track next to Purple Disco Machine club edit next to Dr Dre.

We are delighted to share with you a brand new partnership for 2023! LNADJ are the OFFICIAL Event Production Awards chosen charity partner.

Taking place at Twickenham Stadium on 16th February and in their 12th year, the Event Production Awards recognise excellence in the production and delivery of outdoor and live events!

The largest celebration of its kind, the EPAs Conference News attracts over 500 live event professionals from the UK’s next prolific production agencies, suppliers and promoters to attend one night of appreciation and celebration of all the fantastic work done in the sector.

We know how hard the nominees work behind the scenes to create impressive spaces for partygoers to let loose and immerse themselves in the live experience and all the joy events and festivals bring.

We cannot wait to celebrate the industry's successes and look forward to meeting friends old and new.

“I am hoping that I can help change someones life. Give them a career.”

Introducing Steve Mac. A hip-hop fiend from a young age, Steve set up the Rhythm Masters DJ/production duo — with partner Rob Chetcuti — in the early ‘90s after falling in love with house music.

They soon had some big remixes of huge house artists like TODD TERRY and Dj David Morales released, and became one of the biggest acts DJing in the UK house scene.

To say we’re excited to have Steve on board is an understatement, this is the first project he has taken on with and with Richie Littler, Nicolas Dixon and Inkie from our Tanzania trip at his side we know he’s going to have a life changing experience in Sierra Leone as he shares his passion for dance music with WAYout (Worldwide Arts For Youth).

Representing our Get Equipped initiative Steve will work with Richie Littler Grooveschool. Together they will fast-track some advanced students, teaching them the fundamentals of creating electronic music and DJing using donated equipment.

We caught up with Steve to find out more…

What will you be doing in Sierra Leone? I will be teaching how to write, make and produce music.

What are your hopes for the trip? I am hoping that I can help change someones life. Give them a career.

Why are you getting involved with this project?

I am doing this because I want to make a change, I want to help and give back where I can.

What do you love about LNADJ?

I have huge respect for Jonny Lee and the LNADJ crew. They have done so much to help people that are not as privileged as we are.

I was honoured when Jonny asked me to get involved .

How can other people get involved?

Everyone can help. If there are producers / studios out there that have old computers, studio equipment lying around that is not being used anymore. It would be great to donate the kit to a good cause.

Our trip to Sierra Leone is powered by Pioneer DJ and with support from Beatport, Djaayz, Downtown Music, iZotope, Loopcloud, Plugin Boutique, Point Blank Music School, and sunscreenIT donations to this trip will help us to deliver this project and support young people on their creative journeys.

Some wonderful news for us! We are delighted to share with you a brand new, game changing partnership.

We've teamed up with the UK's most prestigious festival awards event, alongside ticket distributor Ticketmaster and social media giant TikTok.

Held on 6th December 2022 at Manchester's Freight Island, the UK Festival Awards is the only fully festival focussed awards that allow fans to vote for their favourite events, and it is back for its 17th edition.

As the chosen charity partner, this event brings stacks of opportunity for our foundation, and we're here for it!

On the night, we will be sharing a video to highlight our work, we'll be throwing THE after party, and as sponsors of an award, our founder Jonny Lee will be on presentation duties.

Fully embracing the LNADJ ethos and making the most of our industry experience, UK Festival Awards have invited us to have a representative on the panel to choose award winners.

We're looking forward to recognising and championing people's hard work in the music and events industry.

We hope this partnership will help us grow as a charity, enabling us to create new Festival Partnerships.

Recently, over £16,000 was raised to build wells across Africa and India from Secret Garden Party 2022, a collaboration that saw £1 added to the cost of tickets. All proceeds will support Last Night A DJ Saved My Life Foundation future campaigns, such as the 'Have A Drink On Us' and 'Get Equipped,' our groundbreaking initiative to collect surplus DJ and production equipment.

Jonny Lee, Founder of LNADJ, said: "We are delighted to be the charity partner of the UK Festival Awards and be part of an exciting evening celebrating the incredible achievements and hard work of people within the music industry. It promises to be a fantastic night recognising the large-scale events that take a lot of time, energy and passion. Gordo Search and destroy that reached number 2 in the Radio City dance chart's in 200.… Also flyers from when I dj'd for 1st Leisure PLC under the name of Dr Groove...

We’re just days away from our London to Brighton Charity Cycle. Our founder Jonny Lee and Commercial Director Vijay Kumar Anand will be joined by a host of awesome humans and riding a staggering 54 miles this Saturday to help raise funds in Sierra Leone.

Donations will help us to provide bicycles to young people living in Sierra Leone, helping them access the youth centre along with musical equipment and laptops for their continued creative education.
