Hospital Radio Chelmsford working in the community once again, supported by Rolling Stage Hire, with the Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust.

Once again we are providing the music and entertainment for the annual Trust Pride Picnic.

We are set up in the grounds of Broomfield Hospital, so if you see us (or can hear us!) then please come along to say hello and support this event.

Today saw an emotional farewell to our fabulous magical musicals show, after a magnificent 12 years of broadcasting on a Friday with the incredible presenter Eric Smart.

Eric was joined by a number of friends today in the studio to join in this celebration of great music.

All guests perform in Musical Theatre which Eric has worked with over the years. Eric will be Directing My Fair Lady at Chelmsford theatre 15th to 18th May kieran and Jan will be also in.

Incredibly sad news that the legendary Steve Wright has passed away, aged 69. He was the soundtrack to many of our lives and will forever be remembered for his passion, enthusiasm and love of radio.
