When the new studio was built, one of my main driving forces was my daughter, Melody.

I’d built Card Trick up over 13 years - pouring so much of myself in to it along the way.
When I found out we had to vacate our old premises, one of my biggest fears was not being able to show Melody what I had built, and she’d be too young to remember the couple of visits she’d had.

On Sunday, Melody came in to the studio to record some vocals for the very first time on a song SHE WROTE. At 3 1/2 years old. I’ve never been more proud, and never been happier to be able to share my musical world with my daughter

You’re at rehearsal. Your vocalist is still getting those two lines the wrong way round. You’re reaching boiling point. STOP. Take a break - go and chill out in our new area. - Two sofas - Two classic consoles to play. N64, or PS2 - Chillllllled ambience.

New Snakes material is hitting HARD. It’s a pleasure to be working with these boys again!

Well! We are at a checkpoint. Last night we opened the doors to our new premises to rehearsing bands, and got some great feedback. From now on, all your rehearsals will be at our ‘Shakestones Business Centre’ location. CM1 3RL Bear in mind, this is an ongoing development, so please bare with us as we build, evolve and continue to make tweaks in the coming weeks!

STUFF IS HAPPENING!

So we got the keys at the beginning of the week! It’s basically ready right?!?!?! You’ll be pleased to know we’ve already been hard at work. Here’s another little nugget of info for you….. This new space will house a replica of our sought after Live Act Lounge space (with a few improvements and upgrades of course) as well as 4 Hit Hub spaces!!!!!!!! As well as a standard space if you don’t want to splash out on the larger spaces. We have so much more to tell you, but that’s something to tide you over. Keep em peeled for updates!

SX-Fest was an amazing success thanks to the legends that are Junction 28 Looking forward to the next one 🤘
