Now seems like a good time for a production update.

Still editing on the weekly grindstone, but with lots coming up to share with you, and hopefully I'll be firing on all cylinders by November.

Next week, will, delays permitting, see the release of the second of two film projects for the East Anglian Railway Museum, which I'm already, very proud of.

September sees a lot of fresh filming in Yorkshire, but will also see more videos on the Channel, including Sir Nigel Gresley at the NYMR from 2023, and the last footage of locos now in overhaul from the North Norfolk Railway, such as the Y14

October will see some more examples of this year's visits to the East Lancashire, Talyllyn and Great Central Railways. While November will see the return of Doctor Who content in time for this year's anniversary.

All in all, a very busy few months!

Admittedly, things have hit another big delay, partly due to two sizeable last minute projects, which will be revealed soon; as well as a couple of important life changes. Production is still heavy going in the heat. I'm hoping to start getting back in action by mid-July. For now, here's a video from Swanage, earlier in the spring.

More Doctor Who material will, at last, come out in May, to mark the arrival of the new TV Series. Including Museum clips, more trailers, and the first reviews for a long time. In the meantime, here's a photo I took of the original TARDIS console, from the Worlds of Wonder exhibition in Liverpool from 2022.

Away from Steam trains, some of my most popular recent content seems to be of the special runs of 1938 London Underground Tube trains for the network's 160th anniversary last year. Here's the first going southbound on the Piccadilly line. I am always fond of anything Art Deco.

While things have been quiet on the page, production is still hard plugging away, amid a very eventful 6 months. Lots of material still going through the pipeline, both old and new. I think this is possibly one of the first times, I've ended up in someone else's photo, below, during a visit last month to the East Lancashire Railway.

I recommend fellow photography enthusiasts check out Point and Shoot Photos. Lots of astounding work to view of landscapes and views, as well as of course, railways. 😀
