More smaller jobs today around Chelmsford. New Virgin Media cables installed at this property as part of a new extension. Cables routed from the main incoming junction and jointed to existing cables installed by the electrician. A couple of aerial fault finding/remedial jobs along with a network fault on a Ring doorbell as well as a BT TV setup issue were also on the agenda! Cheeky little TV wall mount too 😂😬😂

A few smaller jobs completed today! A return to this customer on the Channels estate. Having previously wall mounted 3 TV’s for them I was asked to wall mount this PS5 and connect to the previously installed cabling. Supply and installation of the wall mount and trunking creating a neat and tidy little setup. Other jobs included reconnection of TV’s/Sky following building works, CCTV fault finding and repair with a new PSU, and re-routing of a Sky satellite cable due to ongoing building work 🎮📡📺

A return visit to this home office to second fix this data installation. 5 Cat6 data sockets backed up by an 8-port gigabit POE network switch. All ready for the office to be setup and work to commence 🖥️ 🛜 💻

WiFi and TV installation at this new build in Little Baddow. Having previously installed an aerial and distribution amplifier I was asked to install new WiFi access points and wall mount two TV’s. Supply and installation of 3 x Ubiquiti U6+ access points, backed up by an 8-port gigabit POE network switch offering WiFi throughout the property. Two scissor wall mounts supplied for 2 x 32” Samsung Frame TV’s. Freeview and WiFi connectivity to both 👌🏼🛜📺

A couple of days of aerials! (plus a tv wall mount and some fault finding/remedial jobs). A new chimney aerial rig supplied and fitted for this customer in Writtle following deterioration of his existing setup. A new loft aerial for my other customer in Chancellor Park along with removal of their existing external aerial to stop the birds messing on the patio and furniture. Both aerials connected into existing distribution systems feeding to multiple TV’s 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

Another busy day! Two customers, one for an aerial installation and two TV’s wall mounted for the next. Aerial installation consisted of a new aerial and rig, along with distribution to 3 TV locations via a 4-way amplifier. Coaxial modules also installed for TV connection. At my next job, another 85” Samsung QLED install!! A second 43” Samsung also fitted in the bedroom. All cables routed within the wall cavities giving a neat and tidy, ‘cable free’ finish. 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

Busy and dusty day with this beast! 85 inches of Samsung QLED wall mounted along with a Sonos Beam and two Sonos Era 100 speakers. Walls chased and cables supplied and routed within. Thanks to Ethan and Ollie from who worked their magic installing the required sockets. Once the customer has arranged the making good, this installation will look pretty special! 📺🔊👍🏼

Back to this customers house yesterday to get their existing data cabling working. Having previously wall mounted numerous TV’s I was asked to improve WiFi connectivity and get the existing data cabling, which was installed when the house was built, working. Supply and installation of a 16-port gigabit network switch, Cat6 cables terminated and patch leads made, 6 TV’s and 1 WiFi access point later and the house network is finally being put to use! Download speeds circa 500Mbps too 👌🏼🛜👌🏼

New aerial installed for this returning customer following signal issues on their previous setup. Due to the aerial being located over a side access bird spikes were also installed on the bracket and aerial to prevent unwanted mess. TV’s all tuned and working as they should 👌🏼📺👌🏼

Wall mount of this new LG OLED screen today. I was asked to supply and install a new scissor bracket along with HDMI and power cable to allow connection to the existing SkyQ box. Cables were once again routed within the wall cavity, with cable outlets installed both behind the TV and media unit, to give a clean, cable free look. Not only does this installation open the room up, it keeps the TV out of reach from little fingers! 📺📺📺

Wall mount of this new 50” Hisense TV today in Springfield. Cantilever wall mount offset to allow the TV to sit as far back from the sofa as possible. PS5, Sky mini box and Bluetooth soundbar all connected and housed within a wall mounted media unit making this an ideal room for both big and little kids alike 📺🎮🔊

A return visit to this customer today to first fix the data cabling for a new extension. It was an ideal opportunity for a bit of re-cabling for some of the existing data cables too, removing unsightly external cabling and routing new cables through the house. Still more work to be done with the first fix and second fix once the extension moves forward but it’s getting there! 🛜👍🏼🛜

More TV wall mounts for different customers in Galleywood and Springfield over the last couple of days. More work required on the Springfield job as cables needed to be routed within the wall cavity and into the loft space to pick up power and aerial connection, but both set their respective rooms off all the same. 👌🏼📺👌🏼

Safe to say that this old satellite dish had seen better days! Quick removal and replacement with a new zone 1 dish and quad LNB and we have signal! Twin coaxial satellite cables routed to two different rooms for existing Sky+HD boxes also 📺📡👌🏼

Today has been a cabling kind of day! First fix of data, WiFi, speaker and CCTV cables in this new extension in Springfield. More work to follow with the first fix of the office area and second fix once plasterboard etc is on the walls 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

CCTV & WiFi installation for this customer in Galleywood. I was asked to install this setup following a break in at this property. After an initial discussion it was recommended that we install 4 cameras on the property, including coverage on an outbuilding at the end of the garden. In addition to the CCTV setup, I was asked to provide WiFi in the outbuilding too. So, 60m of armoured Cat6, 4 x IP 4K cameras, 1 x 8ch 4K NVR, 4TB storage, 2 POE network switches and a WiFi access point later and we’re in business. Full remote access from anywhere in the world via smartphone or tablet as standard! 90mbps download speeds at the end of the garden too 🛜 👀👌🏼

I was asked to remove this existing aerial today due to all of the birds messing on the floor below, right outside an access doorway. A quick removal and then an installation of a new loft aerial and mount and connection to the existing masthead amplifier system and everything is back up and running 🦅💩📺

So when my work stops for you guys, it begins at home! Following a full electrical re-wire, plastering, building and plumbing works, and lastly decorating, I was finally able to do my bits and get the TV’s up in the lounge and my daughter’s bedroom (plus a load of other work too!). Just an extension to get done and get the remaining rooms into shape and we’ll be done! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
