Working with thoroughbred brood mares, young stock & farm livestock.

The role includes general stud/ farm duties.
Handling horses, sales prep, bedding, mucking out, operating farm machinery, grounds maintenance & upkeep etc.

We are seeking candidates with previous farm or stud experience/ background, who are enthusiastic & have a love of outdoor country life.

Reliable, trustworthy, physically fit & willing to learn.

They must have the ability to work as part of a small family team & complete tasks independently.

This role includes working on some weekends.

References will be required.

Salary above minimum wage depending on experience.

We are seeking another Vet to join our Equine practice in beautiful Carmarthenshire.
Equine only practice with excellent equipment, in-patient facilities, and great support staff.

We have a very mixed case load, from donkeys to show and performance horses including a very busy breeding season (as a BEVA approved AI practice) clinic facilities include inpatient stabling for 9 horses, knock down box, theatre and stocks.

Great opportunity to develop a niche of special interest with the back-up of a very experienced team.

We offer a 4 day working week (with an equally shared oncall/weekend rota), sensible working hours in a forward-thinking practice with a better work-life balance in a beautiful part of the country. We do our own out of hours cover with a very experienced phone triage team (including back up from a senior partner if needed).

Salary is dependent on experience.

A full-time applicant is preferred but we would consider a flexible or part time candidate.
