🥧🎄Are you a mince pie traditionalist or ready to embrace the wild world of festive flavours? 🎄🥧

Back in the day, I remember mince pies being all about shortcrust pastry, classic mincemeat, spices, and maybe a cheeky splash of brandy 🥃 But now? The options are endless! Flicking through the M&S food book (my annual festive ritual), I spotted frangipane and sloe gin varieties 😊

A good few years ago, I discovered mince pies with icing on top and I was addicted! How had I not tried these sooner?

Then a few years ago (probably longer than a few🤔), Justin and I stumbled across Heston’s chocolate and sour cherry crumble mince pies 🍫 Problem was, no Waitrose nearby 😟 So, naturally, I begged a friend from Bristol to bring us a stash when she came to visit West Wales. Don’t worry, we didn’t just use her as a pie courier—we fed her too! 😊

Anyway, I guess I’m interested to know...

🎶🎄🎶I know what I like, and when it comes to Christmas music, I am READY! 🎶🎄🎶

Justin and I couldn’t be more different when it comes to music, and festive tunes are no exception. I’m all about the classics—give me Bublé, Mariah, and Leona any day—but for the past few years, Sia’s "Everyday is Christmas" album has been on repeat in my head (Snowman is my absolute fave 😍)

Now, there’s a strict “No Christmas Music Until December 1st” rule in the house😡. But the second that clock strikes midnight, I’m like Santa with a sound system📻 blasting those tunes from the moment I get up!

❄️ So, my question is, what Christmas music are you into?

❄️ Can you suggest any alternative holiday tracks (in case I get fed up of Sia?)

❄️ When is the “game on” date to play festive music in your house? 🎅🎵

Sorry guys, I know it’s late in the day…

Last week, Justin and I had the pleasure of attending the South Wales Business Expo. 🎉

Huge thanks to Neil at Zokit. and his team of little helpers (you know who you are!) for organising such a fantastic event. Held at the iconic Cardiff City Stadium, it was a whirlwind of new connections and familiar faces—exactly what every business owner loves!

We didn’t leave empty-handed either! Assistify scored two bottles of champagne and a box of Lily O'Brien's Chocolates. 🍾🍫 Now that’s what I call a win!

For those of you who had the joy (or frustration) of trying to chat with me, you’ll be glad to hear my voice is finally coming back after a whole week of silence. Not ideal for someone who loves to talk!

We also brought along some fun giveaways—two bottles of fizz, a festive LEGO set, and free entry into our exciting new community venture. 🎁 Winners will be announced shortly, so stay tuned!

Why do I love providing an AMAZING customer service? ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Well, this is where I shine. Shine bright like a diamond💎

And because of this, unfortunately in some cases, I can spot poor customer service a mile off.

😠 It’s my nemesis, my pet hate, the “thing” that frustrates me the most, as those around me have witnessed many times!

When I come across poor customer service, I analyse the situation. I pull it apart.💪🏼 I go over in my head what should have been done. How the situation should have been handled.

Remember, giving an excellent customer service is key.

✅ We need returning custom.

✅ We need these customers singing our praises and encouraging others to use our services.

✅ We need positive feedback on our socials.

✅ Most importantly, we need to feel good about ourselves, knowing we have done the best by our customers.
