PERSONAL POST!

It's hard to believe it's already been 7 months since I started my journey into this digital business realm. I want to be completely honest with my followers/ viewers and here is my honest take on it.

I've experienced a whirlwind of emotions and challenges. I want to reflect on the ups, the downs, and the lessons learned along the way.

THE HIGHS📈
1. Launching and gaining traction
Starting this digital business was a significant leap of faith. The initial launch was thrilling, filled with anticipation and excitement. Seeing how the funnel started to fill up was rewarding.

2. Building a community
I LOVE the weekly Masterminds. It was refreshing and motivating. I had the chance to meet successful business owners from around the world and this helped me build my confidence. I started doing LIVE VIDEOS.

3. SPOTLIGHT Saturday
I never thought I'd have the confidence to do LIVE video but I did. It was such an awesome experience and this led me to have MORE views, more numbers in the funnel, and more flow!

4. My first buyer.
WHAT A WIN! My 5th month into the business and I started seeing RESULTS. This was such an awesome feeling. I finally felt like I was mastering the new digital marketing strategies and was able to understand how the system works.



THE LOWS📉
1. Being Overwhelmed
Running a digital business means being jack-of-all-trades. The sheer volume of tasks can be overwhelming and there were days when I felt like there weren't enough hours in the day. On top of this, I was also helping in setting up a family business AND had 2 competitive sports simultaneously on the go. Clearly, I had too much on my plate!

2. Setbacks
I've had to deal with some personal matters, which has knocked my confidence back to zero. My mental health was not good and I felt like I couldn't post for the sake of posting. I needed to look after myself before I could manage this business.

3. Financial Uncertainty
The financial aspect of running a business can be a rollercoaster. There have been months of quieter periods, making cash flow a constant challenge. Despite the uncertainty, this was a powerful motivator to keep pushing forward.

🤔🧐Final thoughts....

The past few months have been a rollercoaster, but I wouldn't trade the experience for anything. The challenges has been tough, but the rewards have been worth it.

As I look ahead, I'm filled with optimism and determination. Here's to the rest of 2024!🚀

Things I do in my 20s to become financially free 🤌🏼

1. Live below my means 💸❌️
This was quite a hard pill for me to swallow. I'm guilty to admit I grew up quite spoiled. I got nearly everything I wanted, and my parents did everything they could to provide for me. The downside was that I was living WAY above my means in my early 20s. I accumulated some debts, and it was a battle to pay this off.

I learned the hard way. I'm now more mindful of how I spend my money because I don't want to waste it on unnecessary items.

2. Pay off my debts💰✅️
Believe me when I say I had over £11K worth of debt since I turned 21. And no, this isn't student debt - it's personal debt (not from my own doing- story for another time). It took me years to clear off this debt.

I've worked hard in my 20s to ensure I pay off my personal debt, and I am glad to say that I have ZERO debts. By doing this, I now have every opportunity to save up for my future. Clear your debts before you start saving.

3. Maintain a good credit score📈💳
I've learned that to build up a good credit score, you need to clear your debt AND build up your credit score. I'm continuing to do this using my credit cards and ensuring this is all paid off by the end of every month. I make sure I keep on top of it!

4. Increasing my income📊👩🏻‍💻
I currently have 2 income streams, and I aim to increase this. Saving alone isn't going to make me more money.

Having an automated business on the side really is helpful! It's easier now to make money online than ever, and I'm glad to have taken this opportunity.

My journey in a nutshell ✨️

I registered my name and email for a free webinar.
Watched the webinar. Got interested
Paid the $149, but late had this refunded because I was still sceptical.

I took my time and did my research. I observed. I engaged, and finally, 11 months later- I took action.

I invested in myself.

Paid the $149 again and started my training.

I invested in a high commission affiliate company.
I learned the ins and out of social media marketing.
I learned from other business owners through the weekly masterminds and applied this to my business.
I work outside my 9-5 in building my own business.

With the recent developments in my personal life, balancing this side hustle is quite a challenge. From "How do I start?". My questions turned into "How do I scale?"

The only thing I regret is not starting sooner!

If I can do it, you can too. But you won't see success or results if you don't start.

So just START.

And start NOW.

Highly unlikely. 😒 Although, it would depend on your definitions of “rich” and “quick.” Regardless. My stance is: 👇

Go as fast as you can in business without taking shortcuts. 🚴‍♀️

Looking for shortcuts is a good way to NEVER make any significant money. 💸 Let alone, get rich. 💰I mean…

Just think about the synonyms for shortcut: 🛣

Bypass, dodge, avoid, duck, ignore. 🕳

Question: ❓

Ever solved a problem by ignoring it? 💤
Me either. Now what’s the opposite of shortcut? 🤔

Accept, embrace, seek, welcome. 🤝

Doesn’t that just sound like a winning attitude? 🥳Heck yeah! It does. 🤩

So that’s the mentality I want you to have. 🤓

REMEMBER:

I've been MIA, I know! But I've got good reasons for it 🙊😝

The past few weeks, I've been travelling up to Scotland for 2 main sport events (back-to-back). Perth for volleyball, and Edinburgh for cheerleading.

I've had such an amazing time and I've learned so much🫶🏼

Volleyball🏐and cheerleading🎀 has taught me these:

1. Use the power of consistency. Keep working on your craft! It WILL pay off!📈

2. The importance of positive mindset. As an athlete, it's important to keep a positive outlook on ANYTHING and EVERYTHING. Negativity can affect the way you perform.😌

3. Teamwork. Surrounded yourself with people who have the same goal as you. Work collaboratively, listen and share ideas. You will achieve great things together.🤝🏻
