Thank you Beyond The Curtain!! One more sleep til Season 4! 🥳

Delightful news that the simply brilliant returns for a fourth season beginning on Thursday 1st September.

The podcast hosted by theatre directors and script enthusiasts Lexie Ward and Meg Robinson sees the pair discussing in detail 12 new plays across the season.

Season 4 will spotlight 12 new plays including The History Boys by Alan Bennett, Chewing Gum Dreams by Michaela Coel, Antigone adapted by Roy Williams and many more. A Very Expensive Poison by Lucy Prebble and Reasons You Should(n’t) Love Me by Amy Trigg will start this stellar season, and the pair are straight in with a guest for episode two, as Lexie and Meg will be joined by playwright Amy Trigg to discuss her award winning play Reasons You Should(n’t) Love Me.

Season 4 will also welcome more brand new special guests who will grace the ‘podcast couch’ including Artistic Director & Joint CEO of Actors Touring Company (ATC) Matthew Xia and writer/performer Michelle Payne who will provide a backstage pass to the inner workings of her play Squad Goals. As the country still reflects on the success of the Women’s 2022 Euro Cup success , Script In Hand is delighted to be throwing a spotlight on this play that celebrates women’s football.

With growing demand, Lexie and Meg are proud to announce that this season’s podcast will be accompanied by a new subscription service and Script in Hand merchandise. Listeners can tune into exclusive episodes, before they are released to the general public, access behind the scenes content, listen to rare footage and submit content for season 5 and beyond.
