Assistant Mixer

Full time Assistant Mixer required to join the busy and creative team at the highly regarded Bang Post Production facility in Cardiff.

Duties will include :- Premixing, assisting final mixes, mix updates, creating detailed M&E mixes, outputting and quality checking deliverables across a wide variety of specifications and international clients, including Disney, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Sky, BBC, ITV and other major broadcasters, streaming and film clients.
The successful candidate will have mixing experience, a thorough knowledge of Pro Tools, including Dolby Atmos implementation and mixing, Avid control surfaces, Dante IP audio and the creative workflows associated with delivering material to the highest standards of global high end TV.

What an extraordinary year 2021 was!

Despite the challenges we all faced, it was also a year of some amazing achievements and milestones for us.

- Opening a new premises in London

- Winning the BAFTA Cymru award for Best Sound for Gangs Of London.

- Upgrading our dubbing theatres to 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos specification. Taking it to a total of 3 suites capable of mixing in Dolby Atmos .

- Adding an additional 5 new members to our talented team.

-Our ADR facilities run by Rob Searle (London) and Rob Edwards (Cardiff) have been used on shows such as Peaky Blinders, The Larkins and Death in Paradise to name just a few.

-The foley department headed up by Jamie Talbutt providing the foley for all our in house shows plus Doctor Who and many others

- We’ve provided full audio post on a variety of hit shows such as S*x Education3 (Netflix), Keeping Faith(BBC), Industry(HBO), The Long Call, Hollington Drive (both ITV), We Hunt Together (UKTV), The Rising (Sky Studios) and the soon to be released feature film by Craig Roberts “The Phantom of the Open” starring Sir Mark Rylance, Sally Hawkins and Rhys Ifans ( Baby Cow Productions)

2022 is going to be even busier with numerous shows for Netflix , HBO , Sky , BBC and Amazon already in post production with us.

So bye bye 2021 and hello 2022. We wish all our friends, clients and followers a prosperous and safe new year

We are very pleased to announce a new member to the Bang Post family. Please welcome Richard Stockdale.

With 16 years of experience in the post production industry, Richard joins us from Dolby. As a Senior Sound Consultant he has worked in some of the biggest studios in the UK and Europe and has helped content creators produce theatrical and home entertainment content globally, from the smallest independent films to the biggest blockbusters.

Richard's involvement with Dolby Atmos since it's introduction has lead to him becoming an expert in immersive audio, both technically and creatively.

Prior to Dolby, Richard worked at Genelec, where he worked as part of the acoustic design team and also travelled globally installing systems.

We have some very big news to announce shortly . So watch this space.
