NEON DRENCHED LOVE ⛓️❤️‍🔥 you are not ready for the video we’ve been working on… when Lauren & Glyn asked us to capture their Vow renewal in Vegas 5 years after we filmed their wedding we jumped at the chance 🥀 this day felt like a movie scene, we hit the gas & made a pit stop at the coolest motel right outside sure thing chapel just after they got some matching tattoos in the nearest parlour. We gotta admit, we’re straight up obsessed with these babes.

OUR SUCCESS ISN’T A MAN’S STORY 💪🏼✨ Why is it still hard to believe a woman can succeed on her own? 🫣

Recently, after an incredible talk at an awesome event, we were met with overwhelming support!! However it is worth calling out the impact & disappointment of one individuals words, & acknowledging how deflating it can feel to come across closed-minded ways of thinking, even when the evening was filled with endless positive feedback from everyone else.

A man & his friend in the industry approached us & implied our success couldn’t possibly come from our hard work & unique niche. It was assumed, we must have had a rich daddy or another source of income. It’s frustrating (and offensive) to still face this stereotype - that a woman’s success must somehow be tied to a man’s help.

As women, especially in a niche as unique as ours, we know the power of carving out your own path, but moments like this remind us there’s still work to be done.

*We want to acknowledge it’s not all men.* we are surround by so many amazing men & their support! The event was run by an incredible man who curated a wonderfully female-inclusive lineup & has always shown respect for what we do. & many men took their hats off to us, acknowledging & applauding our success. 🥰 We’re grateful for their support & encouragement 🫶🏼

For any women out there who face similar situations, remember:
1. Own your story – You know the truth behind your success. Don’t let anyone take that from you.
2. Address it calmly – Sometimes it’s worth standing your ground and letting others know their bias is showing.
3. Focus on your achievements – Let your work speak louder than their assumptions.
