Real talk: We believe we have a pretty solid work ethic and a strong confidence in our abilities most days. But some days it can be really deflating, especially when engagement is at an all time low! But one thing has remained constant over the 12 years we’ve been in business. Our incredible clients!! 🖤🖤 If the right people hadn’t taken a chance on us, we’d probably be sharing a post about working for someone else right now. We hope our clients know how much they mean to us, how crucial they’ve been in our journey, and that we wouldn’t be where we are without them.

It’s almost time for our 3rd .event which we do in memory of our mumma ✨ nothing coulda prepared us for the heartbreak when she passed from secondary Breast Cancer in 2021 🥀 we created an AMIGOS event because we loved how good pampering our mumma felt, for us & for her 🤍 on her low days we’d cheer her up with a blow dry & a foot rub and it would always do her the world of good 🤍 in our mummas memory we wanted to create a free event dedicated to giving other people going through cancer treatments an epic pampering day ✨ so grateful for the people who donate their time & skills to help us make this day a reality 🤍 our next event is this Monday at & we need to give a special thanks to who is co hosting the Hereford event & has put in an insane amount of effort to make this day so special ✨we can’t thank everyone involved enough 🤍

This may be quite a controversial post, but we’ve never shyed away from controversy ey! 💣 They say imitation is the highest form of flattery. But when does it cross the line into stealing? We are all about getting inspiration from anywhere and everywhere and putting your own spin on something you’ve seen & love BUT continuous copy and paste is NOT COOL. Imitating someone else’s brand without adding any unique value or distinction is NOT COOL.

We’ve had people in the industry fixate and copy every move we take just after we’ve done it. And tbh it’s really damaging.

We’ve had people replicate our workshops, products, website, captions and our style of video shot for shot, etc etc.

We have a very distinctive brand so it gets to a point where it impacts our business.
Not to mention it causes serious burn out in creativity- It’s really hard to stand out in this industry & when people take your hard work & unique ideas & claim them as their own it makes you want to give up.

We preech in our workshops the importance of NO ONE IS YOU & THAT IS YOUR POWER. We focus on the power of individuality. We push people to recognize that their uniqueness is their strength, encouraging them to embrace their authenticity rather than imitating others.

How sad would art be if everyone’s work looked the same?!

Getting inspired by something or someone is totally cool, don’t get us wrong. Inspiration is everywhere. It’s only harmful when it’s a fixation & continuous. Put your own flare on it. Have confidence in that fact that you’re different. We’ve seen this happen in all sorts of industries to far too many companies. Come on people. Don’t be a dick. Dont be fake. Don’t copy someone’s every move. Rant over ✌🏼
