Are you a detail-driven production professional who thrives on managing logistics, budgets, and schedules to keep productions on track from start to finish? We’re looking for an Assistant to our Head of Production with preferably a background in Production Management or Assistance - someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves solving problems, and the precision needed to deliver complex TV productions to the highest standard.
Based in Cardiff, this role offers the opportunity to work across the full production cycle, supporting the Head of Production and collaborating closely with our creative, finance and technical teams.
A high level of Welsh language ability, both oral and written, due to the language of the majority of our returning productions is essential for this position. Ideally, you’ll hold a degree in Welsh Language, Welsh Literature, Linguistics, Cultural or Celtic Studies, or a related field and a strong interest in Welsh Culture. You’ll bring excellent organisational and communication skills, strong numeracy, and exceptional attention to detail. A solid understanding of budgeting, logistics, clearance procedures and broadcaster delivery requirements is also key. Most importantly, you’ll be calm under pressure and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
