Do you share on local pages?? This could be a big help to getting your posts out there BUT lots of things to remember
- These pages often have rules to when you can post (certain days, once a month / fortnight etc) make sure you follow these rules, to avoid being removed.
- Not every page lets businesses post on groups or even follow the group.
- These pages are often run by volunteers in the local communities so there may not be a page for the area you want.
- Are these people your target audience? Are you posting in the right place?
- Are you going to post the same advert and text every single time you post on the groups (people will get fed up of this and scroll past your copy and paste job)
- Lots of pages are “business advertising” is this where your audience is, or are you just sharing for the sake of sharing?
Some pages will let you share a business post from your personal account, but do you want this? Or do you want to maintain your business image by only using the business account?
Lots to consider if whether it’s the right thing for you or not. Is this something you do for your business?
Is this something you have done?
Are you searchable if someone looks for you?
Biggest issue I see here is someone writing their name in the name box BUT if future clients searching for you don’t know your name how will they find you??
Then the bio box …… emojis guys!! You don’t need 10+ emojis here, let your audience know what you can do for them, make it interesting, make it catchy……don’t bore them!
Take some time, get this front page of your platform right, optimise it to help you get found! 🔍

📝 Now this doesn’t mean posting every day as consistency is different for everyone, this could be 3 times a week could be 5 times a week,
✋ Stop, slow down and think about the content that you are putting out, what does your target audience want to see.
Do you only post once a week? 😳
This isn’t helping your socials at all! You need to get into the algorithm game, now this doesn’t mean posting absolutely anything, just throwing content out there or reposting the same thing over and over (there is a good time for reposting content but weekly)
Have you tried using the scheduler? This will help you use your timely more wisely and get these posts out there for you, make some time to sit down and plan your content out, then when you don’t have time it doesn’t matter, your quality posts that you have through about are out there consistently!
