Bringing back liminal spaces examples 👇🏼

Liminal spaces can be found EVERYWHERE and this is really just scratching the surface.

Other examples of liminal spaces include:

🌀 Singing & drumming (altered states)
🌀 Altered states of consciousness generally

Just as Culhwch took action to win the hand of Olwen, calling on the aid of Arthur in a time before he was known as the King of Camelot.

This season we explored Welsh archetypes within the Wesh legend Culhwch ac Olwen and the power of Capricorn energy to take on the impossible tasks of the giant, using our strategic minds to reach our goal. I learnt more about this epic tale in this month's Annwfn Within session.

🌀 Annwfn Within is a year long membership held by where we integrate Welsh mythology & the power of astrology & ritual each month, so that we can change our lives from the inside-out while staying connected to our roots.

Each month we receive bardic story-telling, in-depth presentations, recommended ritual & astrology, and Welsh chants for ancestral connection & altered states of consciousness.

When I started taking Liminal magic seriously, all the liminal deities came out in force 😂

So naturally, I obliged and began working more closely with them.

Liminal deities will aid you on your Liminal magic quest so well. My own practice definitely went up a few notches when I did this.

Yule is upon us once more 👇🏼

The beauty of this time of the year is that most people, whether they are witches, pagans, or Christians generally do Yule things, so if you're new to the Wheel of the Year and the Sabbats, this is a great one to start with.

🌲 Most of the things you do to celebrate Christmas are actually variations of pagan Yule traditions, so why not combine the two celebrations into one?

Practising Liminal magic isn't complicated 👇🏼

It's actually really intuitive, and it's absolutely something you can train yourself to do. You don't have to be an expert, and we each have our own journey when it comes to liminal magic and witchcraft.

🌀 But it doesn't help to have some inspiration, especially if you're new to this path. So try some of these things out and see how you get on.

How to practice Liminal magic:

🏹 WORKING WITH LIMINAL DEITIES

These are just some basic examples, and there is a lot more nuance to being a liminal witch or practitioner, but generally, it's difficult to get this particular form of witchcraft wrong.

All witches and occult practitioners work with Liminality in some way, shape, or form. Even if they aren't aware of it.

Liminal Deities exist everywhere 👇🏼

While I have included Celtic and Greek examples mainly in this list, that is just because they are deities and figures I work with myself. Liminal deities exist throughout all cultures and mythologies, from all corners of the world.

🌀 What makes a deity a liminal figurehead is usually one the aspects of life and the universe they govern, such as transitions, water, thresholds, boundaries, transformation, and even rebirth.

If you are looking to practice and amplify Liminal magic for yourself, the deities I have included in this list are great to get you started.

Remember- liminality is all about thresholds, boundaries, transitions, transformation, and the in-between, something you will soon realise that ALL of these deities have in common.

Liminality completely changed my perspective 👇🏼

I feel like a lot of these things I already knew, but wasn't ready to accept. It was because of liminality that I was able to advance on my own journey.

🌀 As a liminal witch, I work between things- between worlds, between phases. I seek out thin places to amplify my magic and I work with these spaces to amplify their power and heal these pockets of inexplicable phenomena.

It was High Strangeness that really forced me to look at liminality as more than just an internet aesthetic. I delved deep and discovered so much about it and so much about myself. It's the first path I have gone down magically that really feels like where I should be.

It all clicks.

🔮 As witches, we all work with liminality in some way, shape, or form, and liminal witchcraft is all about working with this phenomena at the front and center of your craft.
