I've been writing a lot of music recently for many different genres and projects.
Song writing is something I've never really done with the artists or bands I've produced, maybe the odd riff and lyric idea here and there.

I'd really like to dive a bit deeper in and offer my writing and additional production services (synths/ambience etc) to people.
So if you have a song that you just can't finish or would like to start something fresh, let me know!

I currently have a few weekends in June and July free for writing, recording, mixing and mastering!

The next single, titled ‘FATALITY’, from our upcoming album ‘BETTER DAYS’ will release on 29th April!

This song is a massive ripper of a track, riff fuelled and furious, we can’t wait for you to hear it!

Thinking about the time I fu**ed up while recording the Hounding album.
I don't think I ever told them this but I only ended up recording 1 overhead for the whole album drum session... I STUPIDLY set both overhead tracks to the same input and somehow didn't realise this for the whole session, until I started mixing!
This mistake cost me hours of automating the panning and making some crazy EQ moves to make it sound like the cymbals were on different sides of the kit.
Thankfully it worked out okay and I don't think anyone noticed (probably will now) but this mistake has made me SUPER militant on making sure all of my inputs are set correctly and making sure this kind of thing dosent happen again!

I think it's a good thing to share mistakes.
Plus it's funny. (now)

Had Dan in yesterday, we recorded some super dry and crispy hip hop drums. We kept it simple and only used 8 mics on the kit, no room mics. And it sounded great!

I've been really busy with other life stuff, but exciting stuff!
I'm moving my mix room to a new place soon! I'm very excited to have a purpose built room to sit in for hours and make your tracks sound lovely!

Got to produce, mix and master this crazy EP by The John Golding Experience.
We recorded it at Squarehead Studio and my studio.
It's pretty different from the stuff I normally do but it was a very fun experience working on this with John!
