Big News For 2021! π
It's finally ready!π
I've been waiting five months to tell you.
We've got a brand new video studio, ready to take 2021 on!
Finally, a space that's big enough to grow the V21 team.
Truth is, we're going to need all of this space for what we have planned this year.
That brings me onto even more exciting news.
Our new service that's going to take the video production industry by storm.
We've been working on this under the radar for around five months now.
Testing, testing and testing behind the scenes to get it absolutely perfect.
What is it?
A monthly video subscription where we create videos for your company every single month!π₯
Your own dedicated team of Editors, Videographers, Social Media Managers, Designers and Copywriters.
Making your content for you every month without you having to lift a finger.
Every client on our subscription wants to continue and the numbers are growing larger by the day!
I know, it's bonkers!βοΈ
With the way content is heading, it makes complete sense for us to head in this direction.

Do THIS if you're stuck for video ideas!β
It's a common barrier to break down.
Thinking of ideas requires a different mindset, one that many don't think of.
What does the CONSUMER want to watch.
Being 24, I don't care about your brands daily vlog.
I don't care about your top five tips.
I don't even care about your new podcast where you 'interview' successful entrepreneurs.
What I do care about is something that entertains me.
Something that makes me laugh.
Something that makes me want to engage.
And no, I won't give you the Krabby Patty Secret Formula.
Wanna know why?
The recipe for what that video is can only be found through testing, testing and more testing.
Until one day you find the video that clicks and continue to make it better and better.
If you want to reach my generation with video, send me a message and let's chat ππ»
Are you this type of person?β
There are lots of people that are incredibly boring and shouldn't be on camera! ππ»
Blunt, but true.
I'm not saying this to put you off of making a video.
But I am saying that if you're boring, don't get behind the camera.
Chances are, you'll bore the socks off of everybody watching as well.
Yes, 'boring' is subjective.
What I personally find entertaining, you may find incredibly dull.
So it comes down to personal preference.
All I'm saying is that if you think it's dull, so does the viewer.
That doesn't represent your brand very well.
It looks unprofessional.
And it'll flop on social media.
We consume content so fast, that if you haven't got your viewers attention in five seconds, you've lost them.
Hey, nobody said "video is easy!".
Well, they might have.
But chances are they've never done it.
Engage your viewer.
Make content that grabs attention.
Otherwise you're just another company ticking the box of social media for the day and getting nothing from it.

University is a waste of money. There, I said it β
I graduated University a few years ago after studying Graphic Design.
At first I loved it.
It was my passion.
I couldn't wait to learn the tricks of the trade.
Three years later, I hate it.
What changed?
University ruined my love for design.
I wasn't taught the current way of design.
I was taught what was current 20 years ago.
Charcoal drawings, collages, print.
I feel strongly when I say that my University experience ruined the desire I had to learn something that was hugely in demand.
Every business needed a designer.
But they needed a designer with experience, who knew the current softwares off by heart.
Unfortunately, I had neither.
I was never offered the opportunity to work outside of my degree.
This was only offered to the top a-grade students.
But for students like me who were just a few points off, we never had the chance.
I was never taught current software.
The lecturers never turned up.
It was, in my opinion, a waste of Β£27,000.
For me, University was a waste of money and wasn't what I pictured.
Do you think University is important?
If your marketing manager says something like this, you need to get rid of them NOW π€
Our marketing manager was spending Β£10,000 a month on motivational quotes.
Of course, this is just a joke.
It's to highlight that there are some very outdated marketing mangers out there.
They're taking your business in the completely wrong direction.
They're doing what worked 5-10 years ago.
But I'm sorry to say, what worked then doesn't work now.
Times have changed.
People have changed.
How we purchase has changed.
Basically, everything has changed.
That requires the way you market your businesses to change.
Think about where you're investing your time and money.
You've entered the social selling era of business and it's not going anywhere anytime soon.
I'm sorry to say, motivational quotes from Steve Jobs and Richard Branson aren't going to cut it.
This is HOW you can 10X your reach and engagement when posting content on social media?β
When you have sub ten thousand connections, you've got to remember that you're still quite small.
This means that the content you post has to be broad in order to get more reach and engagement.
What I see people doing is the exact opposite.
Going super targeted and niche with content, so much so that their network just doesn't understand.
YOU'VE GOT TO GO BIG, OR GO HOME!π
That's the rule that you need to remember when making your next video.
If you're after reach and engagement you need to build, build, build.
You're in 'build mode'.
Build your network.
Grow your following.
Engage with others content on social media.
Connect with others and reach out to people.
You'll grow from 2,500 to 20,000 before you know it.
When you've got that following, that's the time to create niche, specific and targeted content.
Not the other way around β
It's perfectly normal to NOT know the answer to a question when you run your own business π€£
I've been following a particular business owner for a few years now.
I love their content.
I love their company.
So, I reached out to book a call.
I got an hour of their time and proceeded to write a list of what I would consider as fundamental questions.
These questions would allow me to understand more about what I needed to take action on in my business.
One of these questions was:
"What would you do if you were in my shoes?"
I explained our position.
Our ambitions and our goals.
But they didn't know the answer, and that's perfectly fine!
The issue was that they didn't say that they didn't know the answer.
Instead they decided to recite the last hour long conversation as if it was to give me clarity.
It's fair to say it didn't and left me even more confused.
Being transparent is really important when giving your advice.
It's impossible to know the answer to everything.
Be honest with what you do and don't know.
That allows me to feel confident with the information you're giving me, knowing that it's absolutely right.
Be open, be honest and be transparent π€π»

There's plenty of young entrepreneurs on social media, but I've nailed them down in to a few generic characters π€£
Let me just say, I'm an advocate for any entrepreneur, young or old. What I find fascinating is when the cockiness of running a business starts to come through...
Especially with young entrepreneurs, there are a few common traits and sayings that seem to always show up.
ππ»"Gary Vee"
ππ»"Work hard and you'll be successful"
ππ» The cocky influencer
ππ»The "I'm an entrepreneur!"
At the end of the day, running a business is incredibly hard, time consuming and full of challenges. But, as with anything in life the more effort you put in the more you get back.
I fully support entrepreneurs of any age, size, gender or race. But please, if you've been running your 'successful' business for three days you can't act like you know everything π

Thinking of ideas is hard, right? But do you really invest the time in the right way to think of new ones?
Watch this quick video and by the end weβre sure youβll be excited and passionate about creating a few!
Stop preaching what you don't execute!
Experts are the funniest breed of people.
On the surface they seem to know what they're doing. But when you dive into the details they really don't know how to do what they're preaching!
Has anybody else encountered non-executers?
Let us know in the comments below! ππ»
This is definitely something that creators need to learn how to use correctly.
Shaky content - isn't it just awful?
Sure, Jason Bourne and John Wick can get away with it, after all they are professional action actors.
But for us, the general public, the daily commuters, the busy people who rush from place to place, it's not the time to do it.
Get yourself one of these tripods from Amazon.
They aren't the best quality but they definitely do the job.
You'll achieve two positive outcomes from this:
#1: You'll feel more relaxed and confident relaying information
#2: Your audience won't feel like they've just left a theme park ride
It's small steps that achieve the bigger picture and if you can get into the habit of making small adjustments - you'll be a pro in no time!
