It's install time! Last we completed an upgrade to the Turner Contemporary in Margate. We removed the old analogue mixer and installed an ALLEN & HEATH AHM processor to provide an easy to use interface for the staff.

As well as the processing upgrade, we also added additional Funktion-One PA speakers to match existing equipment, arranged to offer multiple room seating layout options with zone control at the click of the button.

Finally, 2 wireless hand held microphones and 2 wireless lavaliere microphones are now available for event use!

Earlier this week RASE supplied sound, rigging and lighting for a political rally in the Maidstone building
The design brief was simply to provide good quality audio coverage for 2000 people, along with multiple feeds to broadcast and a lighting package that looks good on camera.

We worked alongside our friends at Invicta Audio Visual Limited who took care of the stage, drape and video.

The total number of attendees ended up being less than the brief suggested, but during testing, the VTX A8 system provided even coverage across the 50m deep audience space, with main array hangs and delay hangs working together seamlessly. Only four 6" point source boxes were required to cover the area immediately in front of the stage, and the outer edges of the front rows. the VTX A8s 110degree dispersion took care of everything else!

January is often an odd month in the events world. It usually kicks off with a few days of manic de-prep after the Christmas hires come back, then we supply the odd conference and begin servicing some of the venues we look after, before we eventually make a start on the mammoth task of warehouse tidy up and equipment servicing.

This year, we're focusing on warehouse efficiency. To improve efficiency we're setting up new racking. Moving storage solutions around to make job preps quicker, and sorting through the stock, ready to move on some equipment and make space for new toys!

It's panto time!
We added to the PA with extra front fills, out fills, control equipment and radio microphones, as well as monitors for the stage! Plus, we also supplied extra stage decking and power equipment for this year's Panto. We'll be back in January to take it all out. But until then, The Wizard of Oz is showing until the 31st of December so there's still plenty of time to experience the fun!

Out for almost 3 months is this unique tiered stage.
Constructed in a private school for their production of the Lion King! (It's pride rock in case you couldn't tell...)

It now sits awaiting dress, with painting and scenery yet to be added!

We'll be back here towards the end of February to add radio microphones, additional stage decking and projection equipment to add further dazzle to this already impressive primary school production!
