We've had a great variety of sessions in the last few weeks making full use of our great sounding live room. Lots of mixing to do now before things slow down a bit for the holidays. We're taking booking for January and February so do get in touch if we can help with your music making.

Thanks to everyone who came to our live event with it was a great to give Dan a good send off to his new life in Germany and also try a new kind of event at the studio. Many thanks to for opening up the night - you literally could have heard a pin drop during his set 👏. Also, and for going above and beyond as usual to help pull the night together ❤️

We still have a few tickets for our live event with the Travis Waltons on the 23rd of November. This is going to be a proper gig but also a full recording session at the same time. As well as some great music, we're hoping it's going to be pretty cool/interesting thing to be a part of for the audience. Well this is exciting. A small number of tickets go on sale for this today so don't snooze if you want to come. It's going to be being filmed and recorded with an audience of around 50 people in our live room.

We've had a last minute space come up on our recording workshop this weekend if anyone would like to join us?!
We have a great few days planned of music making, geeking out about gear and generally learning how we do things here at half-ton.

Introducing our new 'Studio B' housed in a beautifully converted shipping container next to our main studio! It's a cool space that is perfect for mixing and writing sessions and we're thrilled with how it's turned out. Available for hire now by the day or half day. brought the vibes and an excellent buffet to the studio last week as they worked on new tracks for their latest album. These guys like to track live with everything in the room and it's such a treat to see and hear our live room doing what is was designed to do!

We're putting on a gig with our friends from on the 8th of March at the in Cambridge. have worked on their last two albums at Half-ton and it's exciting to see them returning to playing live. Support comes from .band who also recorded their album with us recently.
