From last Thursday, I hired Cabin Fever's rehearsal room in Redruth to record some vocals. Really impressed with the place, it looks amazing and really pleased with how the recording came out! Will definitely be down there again soon to get some more done. 😁🎤🎶

Being permanently set up for band practice in your own living room is awesome. Had a very good rehearsal this eve with Jade and Bob of our set from Farmers. Got a few others to work into the set for next time too! 😁🎶🎸🥁

Been very focused on music again of late which of course is really cool; The open mic and getting ready for the first Church Grim gig since March is very exciting but I have been missing my fave spooky place. This old mill was new to me too. Amazing place, will definitely have to go again! 😁

Sorry I haven't been very active on here of late, been concentrating on learning new songs for Jade & myself's new open mic night at the White Hart in Camborne. This Monday will be our fourth there and we're really pleased with how it's going but we are also working on the original set too so will have more to share with you all soon. 👍

As it will be four weeks without ci******es this Sunday I thought why the hell not. I am very pleased with my new, very portable (battery powered, even!) back to basics recording setup. I loved my Tascam Porta02 multitrack tape recorder back in the day and since I don't seem to get on so well with overly complicated computer recording software, hopefully this will prove to be the way forward! 😁

Our next gig (as it stands at the moment at least) will be at Southleigh Manor Holiday Park for Evening Zone with Lee Jones 12 hour fundraiser show. Last year on the show was the first time our debut single 'Only My Soul (will survive)', was given airplay and this year we will be there in person to perform live so you can either join us there (details to follow) or you will be able to listen live from home on KMF Radio and Events. Last year was a brilliant event, raised lots of money for Andy's Man Club(mental health charity) and this year looks set to be even better! 👍

Keep your eyes peeled for announcements for other fun things to do on the day…….

A bit of a work in progress but there's a lot of riffing going on in this one which can never be a bad thing. I don't use effects much but I have added a bit of chorus to this one too which I think works pretty well.
