Gorgeous interiors and views at .co 😍

Still obsessed with these photos I shot at .co in Shropshire. Funnily enough, it was this stay that inspired me to explore more into interiors photography.

I’ve always been so interested in interior design and can appreciate the effort and skill that goes into it. Some of the places I’ve worked with and stayed at over the last few years have been jaw-dropping beautiful, and that really helps when it comes to photographing a space 🤣

I’ve got an incredible shoot coming soon (that may be a plane trip away 👀) and can’t wait to take you alone with me and show you this incredible staycation!

One of my favourite tools for creating effective reels is Capcut. I started using CapCut earlier this year and it’s probably my most used content creation tool (even more than Canva - yes I just said that!!!)

If you are using Instagram or TikTok or any marketing platform to share video content on, then you need to know all about CapCut. It’ll quickly become your best friend for video editing.

Why use CapCut?

👉🏼 Easy to navigate once you’ve had a play around a couple times
👉🏼 All the functionality you need to create high quality videos
👉🏼 Plenty of templates so you can simply replace their content with your own and you’re ready to post!

Hey guys!

It’s been a hot minute since I came on and shared a little about myself, and as things have changed in my business recently, it feels like the right time to re-introduce myself!

~ And don’t forget to share something we ought to know about you in the comments below 👇🏼

📃 My business is approaching it’s fourth birthday which is just madness to me. It was never a goal of mine to have my own business but it’s worked out for the best. I can now work with incredible people, whilst fulfilling my dreams (majority of which are travel related!)

📸 My main hobby outside of work has always been photography. I love it so much I’m surprised I wasn’t born holding a camera in my hand 🤣 Previously I’ve always said photography was going to stay a hobby, not become my job, but I’ve recently decided to introduce it into my business as why shouldn’t you do what you really love?!

📲 You may not know that I have a side hustle on my other Instagram () being a travel content creator. I feel so fortunate for the opportunities that have come my way so far. Recently I have worked with a lot of staycations around the UK which have all been unbelievably beautiful (DM me for recs if you want some!) and I’m looking to bring this into my business more full time.

I’ll be showing up more frequently on here now I’ve got my ass in gear! It’s been a busy few months and I’m looking forward to what 2024 has to offer!

P.s. This photo was taken in Austria from last weekend…if you haven’t been, I HIGHLY recommend it!

Postcards from Dubrovnik, Croatia 🇭🇷

If you’re not a fan of the crowds in summer, I highly recommend taking a trip during late winter or spring to Dubrovnik…even if it’s just a day trip from somewhere nearby as that’s all you need if you just want to see the old town.

I drove from Montenegro to Dubrovnik for the day in January and it was such a scenic drive! We had a huge storm when I was there which only lasted about 20 minutes and then had sunshine for the rest of the day (it even snowed for about 10 minutes!!)

Brain’s overflowing with ideas, researching days on end, tweaking and editing the caption, and don’t even mention the amount of times you’ve gone back to change the graphic in Canva…

You go to post and s**t! Still forgot something 🤣

ad | Last weekend we ventured down to the coastal town of Poole for a nights stay at the recently refurbished ☺️

It was a mixture of french inspired decor, some original Georgian features and a coastal theme inside the rooms which I adored, specifically the cushions on the bed!

We indulged in a three course meal in the evening (which took a while to choose from their delicious choice of French inspired fare!) and everything was just beautiful 😍

Poole is an ideal place to stay if you’re looking to explore more of the town (it’s just a short walk from the historic quayside) or if you’d like to go further out and explore places like the Jurassic Coast 🌊 or the New Forest 🌳

Don't let THIS knock your confidence 👇🏼

We're at the start of Q2 which means you may see the odd post or two out there talking about goals that were achieved during Q1.

This is a reminder to not let this effect you and not look into it too deeply.

Yes, it's obviously nice to see fellow business owners smashing it out there (I love nothing more) but it can also make you feel a bit s**t and you'll probably be comparing yourself to them.

Take everything you read with a pinch of salt, please.

Why?
👉🏼 Their goals are not the same as yours
👉🏼 Your business model will look different to theirs
👉🏼 You're on separate journeys
👉🏼 Success will mean differently to you than it does to them

I could go on and on but you get the picture.

Stay in your own lane, go at your own pace, and keep focused on YOU and YOUR BUSINESS ❤️

POV: You have a strategic content plan created month on month and last minute posting is out the window 🙌🏼

Because that's what we all really want, right?

Last minute posting is baaad for many reasons...
❌ Lack of strategy meaning you have no choice but to last minute post
❌ You're constantly overwhelmed and confused with what to post next
❌ The content you're posting most likely isn't going to be aligned with your marketing goals

The thing is, you're always going round in circles because you don't actually know what you should be posting.

So here's a few things to consider...
- Go back to the basics. Look at your marketing strategy (or create one if you don't have one already!!) and look over your content pillars, ideal client and spend some time brainstorming ideas over what they want/need and what you can give them.
- What has worked in the past? You probably have content all over the place, look back over it and see what worked and what didn't and start from there.
- Do market research!! What are you audience wanting right now?

Always focusing on your customer's pain points isn't necessarily a good thing!!!

Hear me out...

Do you sometimes read a sales page, Instagram post, or an email and think 'oh god that's me, what's wrong with me?'

And instead of giving you confidence, it actually gives you more fear because you're reading all these things you're currently feeling/thinking/doing.

And it can make you feel a little sh*t really.

Whilst we should still be mentioning our audiences pain points, why not start focusing on their dreams and desires?! After all, we want to paint a picture as to what their business could be like after working with you.
