There’s something amazing about Pooh, Piglet, Tigger and Eyore.

There’s something amazing about friendship.

There’s something special about being open to receiving kindness.

If you’re having a difficult day, reach out, lean in, shout, ask, call, tell someone and share the load. It makes the day lighter to carry.

“Today was a Difficult Day," said Pooh.

There was a pause.

"Do you want to talk about it?" asked Piglet.

"No," said Pooh after a bit. "No, I don't think I do."

"That's okay," said Piglet, and he came and sat beside his friend.

"What are you doing?" asked Pooh.

"Nothing, really," said Piglet. "Only, I know what Difficult Days are like. I quite often don't feel like talking about it on my Difficult Days either.

"But goodness," continued Piglet, "Difficult Days are so much easier when you know you've got someone there for you. And I'll always be here for you, Pooh."

And as Pooh sat there, working through in his head his Difficult Day, while the solid, reliable Piglet sat next to him quietly, swinging his little legs...he thought that his best friend had never been more right."

It occurred to Pooh and Piglet that they hadn't heard from Eeyore for several days, so they put on their hats and coats and trotted across the Hundred Acre Wood to Eeyore's house.
Inside the house was Eeyore.
"Hello Eeyore," said Pooh.
"Hello Pooh. Hello Piglet" said Eeyore, in a glum sounding voice.
"We just thought we'd check on you," said Piglet, "because we hadn't heard from you, and so we wanted to know if you were okay."
Eeyore was silent for a moment. "Am I okay?" he asked, eventually. "Well, I don't know, to be honest. Are any of us really okay? That's what I ask myself. All I can tell you, Pooh and Piglet, is that right now I feel really rathr sad, and alone, and not much fun to be around at all.
Which is why I haven't bothered you. Because you wouldn't want to waste your time with someone who is sad, and alone, and not much fun to be around at all, would you now."
Pooh looked and Piglet, and Piglet looked at Pooh, and they both sat down, one on either side of Eeyore in his stick house.
Eeyore looked at them in surprise. "What are you doing?"
"We're sitting here with you," said Pooh, "because we are your friends. And true friends don't care if someone is feeling sad, or alone, or not much fun to be around at all. True friends are there for you anyway. And so here we are."
"Oh," said Eeyore. "Oh." And the three of them sat there in silence, and while Pooh and Piglet said nothng at all; somehow, almost imperceptibly, Eeyore started to feel a very tiny little bit better.
Because Pooh and Piglet were there.
No more; no less.

I’ve been asking myself this all weekend.

Doubting myself.

Wondering whether I’m doing the right thing.

If it’s what’s needed.

Afraid I’m not the person for the job.

And yet, I’ve had to transition since Ken died, so starting a transformative community for women at all stages of life and career seems like a good choice.

This isn’t a new endeavor for me; I started something similar online before COVID.

Now, though, I want to feel the fear! I don’t want to be afraid. No more imposter syndrome. I’d like to bring people together.

A community that helps women build confidence, share real experiences, and support each other in reaching new heights in both life and business.

Somewhere we can connect, share wins and challenges, and grow alongside other women who lift each other up.

A lean-in network.

Goal!

When we think of coaching, it’s easy to get caught up in the hustle of achieving goals!
Whatever they maybe.

But at its core, coaching is so much more than just ticking boxes on a to-do list. It’s a journey of personal transformation that goes far deeper than the surface-level achievements.

I’ve had the privilege of witnessing transformations that leave a lasting impression. Clients who come in unsure of themselves often emerge with a newfound clarity about their potential and purpose.

They dive deep into the waters of self-discovery, peeling back layers of self-doubt and unearthing strengths they didn’t even know they had. It’s like watching a caterpillar break free from its cocoon and spread its wings as a butterfly.

There’s something profoundly beautiful about seeing someone embrace their authentic self and step into their superpower.

Its the moment in coaching or mentorship where everything just clicks. There a lots of ways it can happen. It can come from being asked the right questions to spark the realization, or perhaps from a series of small steps that lead to a significant breakthrough.

However it happens the moments can shift our perspective in ways we never imagined.

They help us see challenges as opportunities for growth, rather than obstacles to overcome.

For me, coaching has transformed the way I view my own personal and professional journey. It’s taught me to embrace vulnerability, to ask for help when I need it, and to recognize that success is not a solitary endeavor.

I’ve learned that growth often comes from collaboration and open dialogue, and that every setback can serve as a stepping stone to something greater.

Every experience is a thread in the vibrant tapestry of our lives, and by sharing, we can inspire others on their own journeys.
