We’re excited to share a rough cut clip of ‘Sister Anna’ filmed back in January this year. Anna Lischer, recently widowed, fights to claim her late brother’s estate. In this clip, Eliza Butterworth plays Anna and John Macneill plays Anna’s solicitor. Milton Price. We’re filming scenes with a younger Anna, also played by Eliza, in November and we’re crowdfunding on Kickstarter to finish our short film for you all. Here's a peek behind the scenes of our January shoot when we filmed the 1844 scenes at Insole Court in Cardiff.

We're now prepping for the 1817 scenes which will film in Aberglasney Gardens in Carmarthenshire.

Excited to announce that Ossian Perret will play Moravian church minister, Matthaeus Cammerhoff in Sister Anna when we film later this year.

Since graduating from Drama Centre London in 2018, Ossian Perret is establishing himself as a versatile actor with a diverse body of work. His Television credits include: The Last Kingdom (Netflix); The Witcher (Netflix); The First Team (BBC); Grantchester (ITV/Masterpiece PBS); Trying (Apple TV); Sanctuary (Sundance Now). Feature Film: Arthur’s Whisky (Sky Cinema). Short Film: Luka in ‘Side Hustle’, Jamie in ‘Ernie’ from The Uncertain Kingdom. Video Game: Star Citizen (Cloud Imperium Games), Amnesia: The Bunker (Frictional Games). Stage Credits include: Joe Penhall’s Some Voices and The Dwarfs by Harold Pinter.

The Story:
1844: When Anna Lischer’s abusive brother William dies, she is determined to win back the family fortune she lost when, aged only 19, she fled his violence.

As she recounts the disturbing events of her youth to Milton Price, her solicitor, she remembers back to the day, decades before, when she escaped William and sought refuge in a Moravian Settlement, the home of her secret love, Erich.

But unbeknown to Anna, Erich’s pious brother Gottlieb has arranged for Erich to marry a wife chosen for him from within their community.

Meanwhile, William hunts for his sister…

About Milton Price:
Solicitor Milton Price is confident he’ll easily convince Anna Lischer that her attempts to win back her family fortune will be in vain…his advice: her battle will not easily be won. But he soon discovers Anna is accustomed to dealing with condescending men, and she won’t lose.
