The team will be located outside of East Lancashire Railway's Ramsbottom Station between 11am and 5pm. 🚂

A HUGE Classic Car Show is planned for tomorrow, along with Food and Drink, activities, fun fair and more, Ramsbottom is the only place that you want to visit tomorrow. 🚗

Todays the day for Ramsbottom Rotary as it’s the weekend of Ramsbottom Festival 2024 that kicks off at 11am.

Over 90 stalls, food and drink, classic car show, fairground, oh and Roch Valley Radio outside of the East Lancashire Railway.

Bury's conservative group have reacted to last week's election defeat in Bury North.

Labour took the seat after it had been held by the Conservatives since 2019.

Conservative candidate & former MP for Bury North James Daly left the count centre via a fire exit as soon as the declaration had been made.

James Frith won with a majority of 6,944 and has returned to Westminister today.

A statement from Bury Conservatives, thanks Mr Daly for "the amazing legacy he leaves"

It continues: "Thanks to James and the Conservative Government £347 million of investment has been delivered across Bury North some of the highlights includes unparalleled increased Special Educational Needs Schools capacity, investment in the modernisation of Bury Town Centre, funding to restore Ramsbottom Co-Op Hall and pivotally enabling Bury football fans to once again watch football at Gigg Lane"

They congratulated Sir Keir Starmer and local MPs James Frith & Christian Wakeford on their victories.

The group say they will continue to hold the Labour Party to account.

"In conclusion we want to congratulate Sir Keir Starmer and his Labour MPs and wish them all the very best as they now assume responsibility for our great country.

"Through our Councillors both on Bury Council and those who have Greater Manchester wide responsibilities we will be as diligent and challenging as ever in holding Labour politicians to account for the decisions they make."

Bury Conservatives have 10 local councillors that sit on Bury Council.
