Great time today with at today. The day consisted of vocal tracking, talking about Star Wars, watching weird s**t and mixing.

I’m not a “LETS GOOO” person but damn had many of those moments today.

Why? To save money? Can do a better job yourself? if so your, ruining your mix.

let an extra set of ears help your songs journey.

Don’t care? At least if you have access to people with the knowledge, get feedback before releasing a song, that is over compressed, levels off and badly edited and filled with unwanted noise. I’m know I’m always happy to listen to a mix from band who rehearses at the studio but chooses to record at another location or who have recorded with me and choose to DIY mix because it is actually refreshing to my ears as well, I listen to a mix the other week and it wired my brain to locate the same problems in my mixes. So let’s all work together to make better music. Let’s chat about your next release.

So iv start playing and recording covers of my favourite band . I’m doing 1 song from each album, the reason I started doing this is I wanted to get that daylight dies tone without buying any more equipment, it’s was great exercise to work within my limits, I think i have got pretty close and from the compliments I get when people hear it, others agree
