For this first outing to Camp Bestival we created a narrative journey through all things nautical. The castle folds up into a paper boat which sets sail on an epic adventure through landscapes and seascapes. ⛵︎

This one is from 2022 with the theme of 'Desert Island Disco' 🪩
We animated a narrative piece, which followed the adventures of everyones favourite festival mascot ‘LoveBot’ on his own desert Island adventure 🏝️
Epic storms, a love interest, pirates, treasure and a happy disco ending made for a super feel-good closing event to a most excellent festival 🎉

This snippet is from last years theme of “Animal Snap”. We battled wind & rain to make the show happen. By the end of the show there were rather a lot of damp and wind-swept festival goers. Nice one for sticking it out to the end folks ❤️

Was great fun filming this activation, which was set up with all kinds of fun from the series, such as snakes, toffee apples & a flash mob of chattering nuns. Could you really need anything else?

The idea for Open Canvas was letting the Abbey became a canvas for mass collaboration, allowing families and friends of all ages to make their creative mark on the building. We created a digital template of the building that was available to animate and manipulate, with submissions coming from all over the world, including Australia.
We held workshops where you could draw on printed out templates of the building, scan it in & watch it appear on the building shortly after. As well as being able to draw in UV pen on a transparent screen with a back-projected outline of the building, which was captured on video and then also projected onto the building in Timelapse.
This project was an incredible demonstration of how projection mapping can really encourage community engagement and creativity of all ages & backgrounds. ✨
Train - UnderArmour x Alexander Arnold Trent
Some work from a few years back with Baked for UnderArmour. We orchestrated the lighting design for this shoot, working closely with Baked to bring their vision to life in this social media campaign.

The idea for Open Canvas was to create a giant canvas for mass community collaboration and creation. It allowed families and friends of all ages to make their creative mark on the building.
In advance of the event we distributed a set of digital templates in various formats, of the Tor Abbey facade.
We provided instruction and made it available to download, for others to play, animate, manipulate and to create their own shareable content. We had submissions from all over the world, including as far afield as Australia.
During the event itself we held hands-on workshops on site, where participants could draw directly onto a template of the building and then see it appear on the building shortly after. We worked hard to make this as accessible as possible, using various methods including; pen and paper, iPad drawing apps, and using UV pens on a massive transparent screen.
This project was an incredible demonstration of how projection mapping can really encourage community engagement and creativity of all ages & backgrounds.

We were amazed by the preservation of traditional tissue transfer printing, skilfully applied for this one of a kind collection that’s authentically Burleigh, and signature Ralph Lauren.

Bureligh has been making it’s pottery for more than 160 years through the skilled hand-work of a team of artisans, guided purely by sensory experience, expertise, and an instinct for perfection ✨
Burleigh is also unique today for its preservation of tissue transfer printing, skilfully applied for this one of a kind collection that’s authentically Burleigh, and signature Ralph Lauren.

Looking back at an interesting projection mapping project for a music video.
The projections, covering 270°, engulfed the band in light, creating an awesome backdrop for their performance. This setup allowed the crew to be creative with direction, intensity and the consistency of the projected visuals. Combined with the old architecture of the amazing ‘Spanish Barn’, the final output worked a treat.
Future Stewards - Animation Explainer Series 💻
Throughout 2022 & 2023 we worked on 9 x animated films, exploring the Three Horizons framework and associated systems thinking frameworks.
To create this beautiful series of animated explainer videos, we worked closely with the Future Stewards team including Director at Leaders’ Quest, Futures Practitioner Bill Sharpe and the ever-amazing design team .creative.bloc, who worked up the entire look and feel of this project 👏🏼🙌🏼

Liskeard Lights Up 2023✨
We were commissioned to create a 15 minute projection mapping show as part of Liskeard Lights Up 2023. 💥
This project celebrated the life of John Passmore Edward’s on his 200th birthday. We projection mapped the recently renovated Liskeard Library, one of 2 buildings that Passmore gifted to Liskeard. ⛪️
This animated journey through some of the historical highlights of the town of Liskeard was driven by a powerful soundscape and authentic Cornish voiceovers. We definitely imparted a fact or two about the town of Liskeard. 🗺️📍

The concept for this film was to shoot different scenes against a high resolution rear projection screen, whilst walking on an embedded treadmill.
This allowed us to explore the concepts behind the design of the garments and accessories.
We worked closely with Baked to design & build the set as well as spec’ing, installing and running all the projection tech. We also managed the lighting design for this shoot.
This versatile set enabled the crew to have full control of the environment, seamlessly infusing textures and ambiance into the scene.

🎭 Bournemouth Arts by the Sea Festival - 2023 🎭
One of our latest projection mapping projects from last year. Commissioned to craft a 30 minute show consisting of animating artwork from the incredible Annie Frost Nicholson and collaborating with Si Kilmo to make an immersive headphone visual experience.
All of which was projected onto the Bournemouth Town Council building. And to kick it all off - DJ Yoda performed a Live AV set on the Friday night!

It’s been amazing being a core part of this event over the last two years projecting onto Bournemouth Town Hall with BCP Council !
We’ve collaborated with some inspirational artists including DJ Yoda, Si Kilmo, Annie Frost Nicholson, Marcus Method & The Hush Club .
We are so grateful for the creative freedom that the festival has trusted to us over 2022 & 2023, enabling us to showcase our own artwork and creative output 😍
