Pleased to co write and / co produce another one alongside my bros @disciples.Some of the background to this one - We really wanted to create something ethereal with this - so felt natural to start writing in a stripped down way which I always love to do even with dance records : just picking up my acoustic guitar and writing with the amazing @hannahwilsonhq bringing her haunting A game the song came very quickly.. I always felt that there was something about this song when we were in the process of putting it together it like it was speaking about a specific otherworldly time and place... with everything that’s going on right now def feels appropriate for release at this time. The keys and bass & other instrumentation I found flowed really quickly after that which is always a special sign - I also really wanted to create a bass sound that would complement that vocal as we usually strip it back to the basics. The vocals were tracked / recorded that way to just an acoustic guitar to capture that dreamy feeling which really comes across on the record I think. The magic vocal artistry of @anabelenglund really did justice to this one.
