Double award nomination news for The Makery, the ultimate ‘make and do’ show!

The third series of the show has been shortlisted in the Best Pre-school Programme category in the Broadcast Magazine Awards 2025 and in the Pre School Best Live-Action Series category in the 2025 Kidscreen Awards.

The Makery Series 3 was commissioned by Sky Kids and is produced by Terrific Television. Animation and effects for the show were provided by our team.

Pip and Posy Let’s Learn, for 3 to 5 year-olds, is a new off-shoot from the hit show produced by Magic Light, based on the books illustrated by Axel Scheffler (The Gruffalo). The series is produced by Magic Light Pictures, with animation services provided by our team here at A Productions.

The nominations are out for the MIPCOM Cannes Diversify TV Awards… and it’s great to see that JoJo & Gran Gran’s It's Time to Braid Hair episode has made the cut!

Congratulations to everyone involved. We are so proud to have worked on this show, which is shortlisted in the ‘Representation of Diversity in Kids Programming – Pre School’ category. The awards are dedicated to championing and promoting diversity and inclusion in all its forms across the international television industry.

Exciting new show coming soon! We are thrilled to be working on My Friend Maisy, a new animated series starring the globally-loved characters from the bestselling Maisy books. We are creating the animation for the show together with Karrot Animation

Whilst closely reflecting the illustrative style of Lucy Cousins’ wonderful books, the series will offer a unique opportunity for global audiences to join Maisy on her adventures in a new, captivating and imaginative way - they will hear her talk, giggle, and sing for the very first time!

It’s being co-produced by BBC Studios Kids & Family Productions and Trustbridge Entertainment.
