In the celestial realm of Feyranth, where gods control the cosmos, a young goddess faces a choice that could alter her destiny.

A magical meal, a symbol of unity and strength for their cosmic journey...
Her defiance hidden in shadows.

What unfolds is a tale of truth and consequence. Will honesty or deceit shape their universe?

ORIGINAL CONFESSION:

The family were preparing to go on holiday. All the frantic tasks in preparation for the departure had been accomplished. Mum had cleaned the house from top to bottom until it was positively gleaming. I never understood this practice before a stay away from home. Was it in case someone broke in and would be overwhelmed by the cleanliness and leave or in case we never came back and the neighbours would know my mother always kept a clean and tidy house.
Dad had been busy cleaning the car and had spent some time under the bonnet fiddling and tinkering before loading the boot with cases for our holiday.
He was busy loading the cases into the boot when the call came..... "Lunch is ready".
Having all been summoned to the pre holiday feast we eagerly awaited our plates to appear before us.

Imagine my disappointment when I was confronted by a plate of fish greens and potatoes. A healthy option to set us up for our journey we were told. As everyone else tucked in I soon realised that this was certainly not my meal of choice for such a trip. I thought by showing my displeasure and refusing this delicacy on such an important day that I would be offered a more appealing dish to sustain me on my travels. Surely my parents would not want me to waste away before reaching our destination.
But this was not the case. I was told that I would have to eat it or I wouldn't be going on holiday. Horror of horrors. I certainly had no plans to miss out on this adventure. As the rest of the family tucked in and cleared their plates I proved to be stubborn. Everyone else was ready to go and left the room shutting the door behind them. I found myself sat all alone at the table giving my dilemma some considerable thought as I played with the food on my plate. Should I give in and swallow my pride and eat this cold plate of undesirable food or could I come up with a cunning plan?? A few minutes later having been reminded by my mother that if I didn't eat my lunch they would have to leave me behind as we had to leave in five minutes. Spurred on by the thought of missing out on a trip to explore a foreign country and play on golden sands in the sun I hatched a masterpiece of a plan.
There on the sideboard behind me was a vase. A beautiful shaped black and white vase. As quick as a flash I saw my chance to avoid being left home alone while others went off to have fun. I swiftly put my plate of food into the vase leaving a clean plate before shouting "Mummy I've finished". I smiled smugly as I was praised for being a good girl and off we went on holiday.
Sadly on our return it was soon discovered that I had not been the good girl they thought I had been. On opening the door to the dining room my mother shrieked in horror as she was greeted by a large number of flies flying around the vase. Some already passed away having gorged themselves on the healthy option meal I had left there. And sure enough it wasn't long before
My mothers shreik had brought my father running to see what horror had been the cause of her distress. Had somebody actually broken in and been overwhelmed by the cleanliness and left a note to say how impressed they were with her cleaning?? It was clearly the time to make myself scarce to avoid the wrath that was surely to come.

Recently, I found myself in a disastrous situation when I spilt cider on my laptop on a Sunday morning, leftovers from the night before. My laptop immediately died and with all my work and edit projects stored on it! Needless to say, I had a bit of a meltdown. To make matters worse, we took it to the Apple Store and their solution was far from satisfactory, offering no immediate data backup solution, leaving me stressed and frustrated.

However, in my despair, we found Apple Fixers online and reached out to Howard, and I'm beyond grateful that we did.

Howard's response was nothing short of amazing. By 8pm that same Sunday, he was at my door, ready to collect my cider-drenched laptop. Throughout the week, he kept me informed of the progress, which alone was a huge relief. But Howard went above and beyond; he even checked in on my mental health and how I was coping with the situation, which was incredibly thoughtful and much appreciated.

By the following Saturday, Howard had worked his magic. My laptop was returned to me not just fixed, but better than new! It's rare to come across someone who not only excels in their technical skills but also shows genuine care and concern for their customers. Howard at Apple Fixers is that rare find. His expertise, coupled with his remarkable customer service, has left a lasting impression on me.

If you're ever in a bind with your electronics, I cannot recommend Howard and Apple Fixers enough. The level of service, care, and expertise is unparalleled. Thank you, Howard, for not just saving my laptop, but for your support and kindness during a stressful time. You're a true professional, a genuinely good person and an absolute SUPERHERO! (Not all heroes wear capes)!�

👇 Inspiration for Today's Episode:

A number of years ago I had just moved to Stoke Newington with my ex, the sisters were visiting and as a result, we got in an Indian takeaway as a treat. This particular feast involved breads and dry spiced meats. The next day said Indian had done a number on the ex, I can only presume a small creature crawled up his ass and died. it was pungent, it was thick. This wasn't really realised until we had already gone out shopping in Stratford Westfield. We quickly learnt that if we split up, we had to keep track of where the ex was or more specifically where he'd been, so we could avoid being hit in the face by farts - the boy was leaving a scent marker everywhere he went. At some point we entered the Levi's store, I was particularly interested in a Denim jacket and I kindly asked the sales assistant if she had this in another size, she happily went out back to check, and on her return, she looked happy and successful holding a second garment, a few steps away from me, it was like she took a shade to the face, stopped in her track, her happy face turned to horror, her face scrunched in disgust and she let out an "OH GOD.... What’s that?" - READ WITH SHOCK FIRST THEN PAIN AND FEAR!! The poor bu**er had walked into a death butt smell.... it was definitely the worst fart of the day. The ex, with his tail between his legs, shuffled to somewhere else in the shop and I purchased the jacket for the trouble caused.

When I was young, about 12 or 13 maybe and my younger brother was around 7 or 8.
Basically, I made some notes from "The Devil"... to do this I stained white paper with tea and burnt the edges and burnt holes in it to fo good effect. I wrote on it with, I think red food colouring... I said I was the devil and he needed to give all his sweets to his sister.
I also said he couldn't tell his parents that the devil was visiting him or he would end everyone but he could talk to his sister.
I stuck them to his headboard with blue tac that I stained red :/

In hindsight, that was actually pretty hor

Original Confession:

I had a work Teams meeting first thing yesterday morning, it was a divisional meeting with LOADS of people, perhaps even hundreds.

Everyone had their webcams off, apart from the meeting host (as is the norm with these meetings, as it’s essentially just a presentation by her).

I joined the meeting, I was on mute… but I didn’t notice that my camera was set to “on”. So I popped up, FULL SCREEN, for all to see, in my dressing gown, no makeup, hair all over the place… And to make matters worse, my reflex reaction when I saw myself on the screen, rather than locating the “camera off” button, was to down-periscope, i.e. to slide down in my chair and hit the deck.

So everyone would have seen me mouthing the word “sh*t” and rapidly sliding down out of view.
