Fallout began this morning.
A nuclear accident has released a cloud of deadly fallout. You must escape at least 40 miles in any direction solo, or in pairs. The cloud is always expanding, shown on the TrackTrail® tracking map. If the cloud catches you, you are vaporized. You have 12 hours to run to a safe distance, or carry on for as long as you like for "Last One Standing".

Women’s Introduction to Trail Running
20th January 2024
Bingley St Ives
This is specifically aimed at women to encourage you to try out the trails in a friendly environment and no pressure atmosphere.
If you take part in Park Run, or have already tried running around town or even the treadmill then I urge you to come and join Mel and Tahira to experience the real, enjoyable kind of running. Complete beginners welcome.
Mixed terrain, footpaths, stone tracks, woodland, grass. Feel what its like to explore new places and take in that amazing country air!
We don’t care about distance or speed. This taster session is about introducing women to beautiful surroundings, trying an activity which will connect us with nature. Learn what you need to stay safe and take to the trails.
You can try different kit, shoes, running bags, etc.
We have a range of spare trail shoes if you do not have your own.
This is a new taster session in West Yorkshire so we are offering this FREE of charge. Please tell your friends.
Mel is a qualified UK Athletics Run Leader, Outdoor First Aid Qualified and trained to Level 3 in Counselling which means that you are in a safe space, with someone who can offer support and guidance with no judgement.
Tahira is new to the Due North team. She is a member of Muslim Hikers and Muslim Runners. Tahira brings her religious and cultural understandings to the group which is a huge reassurance for women from ethnically and culturally diverse backgrounds who may have previously felt out of their comfort zone in these environments. Tahira is also qualified in sports coaching.

Thanks to Tracy Waite and the team for putting on a great event at the Heartlands Heritage Centre at Pool, Redruth in Cornwall, an opportunity to make new friends and to catch up with some of our contributors over the last few years including Jane Stephens from the Arc of Attrition, Stephen Cousins from Film My Run and poet Leah Atherton who wrote about her SWCP FKT attempt in 2020 and who has a new collection of poetry published, A Sky the Colour of Hope.

Well what can we say..
Thank you to everyone that came to the Cornwall Run Show. Without you all, it wouldnt have been possible.
To all the stand holders that gave up their Easter Sunday to stand alongside us on our first show. To everyone that came and attended the day.
To the helpers along the way, you know who you are, the list is long!
To Be Kind Vegan Caravan who supplied the most amazing coffee, food and cakes ever, both day and into the evening.
To the run guides that took us all out on various trails throughout the day.
To Stiff Twigs Yoga for the most beautiful 30 mins of outdoor runner specific yoga, who delivered with only 48 hours notice!
To Stephen Cousins who spent his whole day with us, running, giving a tutorial on how to film you run, filming a live feed, then speaking in our evening guest event.
To every evening guest speaker, your strength, yoyr vulnerablity, your courage and your passion for the sport of running was more appreeciated than you would ever realise, remember...as Leah Atherton said, we are all stones, its a ripple effect.
To Jay Jay Grady and Trail and Error Podcast for hosting the evening guest speaking event, Jay, I have said this time and time again...you make things super comfortable, super easy, you are everyones favourite ginger!
To the Pony head who worked our sound and imagery for the day, and who is my side kick in this thing we call life.
To David William J, my Cornwall Run Show fellow event director.....you know what CLS, I think we did good, love you di****ad!
