Thanks to Tracy Waite and the team for putting on a great event at the Heartlands Heritage Centre at Pool, Redruth in Cornwall, an opportunity to make new friends and to catch up with some of our contributors over the last few years including Jane Stephens from the Arc of Attrition, Stephen Cousins from Film My Run and poet Leah Atherton who wrote about her SWCP FKT attempt in 2020 and who has a new collection of poetry published, A Sky the Colour of Hope.
Well what can we say..
Thank you to everyone that came to the Cornwall Run Show. Without you all, it wouldnt have been possible.
To all the stand holders that gave up their Easter Sunday to stand alongside us on our first show. To everyone that came and attended the day.
To the helpers along the way, you know who you are, the list is long!
To Be Kind Vegan Caravan who supplied the most amazing coffee, food and cakes ever, both day and into the evening.
To the run guides that took us all out on various trails throughout the day.
To Stiff Twigs Yoga for the most beautiful 30 mins of outdoor runner specific yoga, who delivered with only 48 hours notice!
To Stephen Cousins who spent his whole day with us, running, giving a tutorial on how to film you run, filming a live feed, then speaking in our evening guest event.
To every evening guest speaker, your strength, yoyr vulnerablity, your courage and your passion for the sport of running was more appreeciated than you would ever realise, remember...as Leah Atherton said, we are all stones, its a ripple effect.
