RS Studios, we believe, is the single largest independant rehearsal & recording studio complex in the Southwest of England. It is the brainchild of business partners Rich Weaver & Steve Mallinson, and consists of 18 individual, dedicated, custom designed & built sound proof studios. Located in The Old Engineering Works, an imposing 120 yr old building on Feeder Road and situat
ed over two floors, RS Studios first opened it doors to the public in Jan 2003 and has never looked back! Rich & Steve's ethos was simple, design & build something from scratch, that was fit for purpose and not just another converted shell with a PA, keep it nice & simple, offer the best service & value- for-money possible, give help and advice if needed and above all, don't take life to seriously.

Practice makes perfect. Very difficult, in fact. It takes endless amounts of four things: time, dedication, inspiration and the right creative atmosphere.The first 3 come from within, but the fourth has to be found! If you're fed up with writing alone in your bedroom, getting nagged for rehearsing too loud in your spare room, cold from your mate's draughty garage, disillusioned with the sound of your local church hall, feel creatively stifled by yet another 'make-do' studio, or simply fed up with being over-charged to use below-par rehearsal rooms...

Opening Hours:
We endeavour to accommodate everyones wishes, but in order to maintain some kind of basic routine, below are our standard weekly rehearsal slots:
Monday: 10.00 - 14.00 , 14.00 - 18.00 , 19.00 - 23.00
Tuesday: 10.00 - 14.00 , 14.00 - 18.00 , 19.00 - 23.00
Wednesday: 10.00 - 14.00 , 14.00 - 18.00 , 19.00 - 23.00
Thursday: 10.00 - 14.00 , 14.00 - 18.00 , 19.00 - 23.00
Friday: 10.00 - 14.00 , 14.00 - 18.00 , 19.00 - 23.00
Saturday: 10.00 - 14.00 , 14.00 - 18.00
Sunday: 10.00 - 14.00 , 14.00 - 18.00 , 18.00 - 22.00

What's it gonna cost me?...
Like we have said before, 'keep it simple!' Everyone pays the same, so just because you are a solo artist or in a duo, you dont get penalised. Likewise if your band is 6 or more, ask us about a fixed room rate!
£ 8.00 per person, per 4 hour session! (=£2 pp/ph)
£12.00 per person, per 8 hour session! (=£1.50 pp/ph)
We do not recommend rehearsal slots of more than 8 hours, but if you fancy a chilled out day of jamming or writing, then ask for a day rate. Further discounts may be offered at our discretion to U16's, BIMM and block bookings. We have a secure card processing terminal in our office, for debit/credit card payments at an additional 25p per transaction.
