Yes yes kurb kru!!!

Just want to explain the situation with the brand after our final event at The Crown on Saturday…

We are transitioning into a label and doing events more sporadically alongside takeovers etc.

We’d like to thank you for your ongoing support over the last year or so - we’re eternally grateful to everyone who has pushed the brand in any way!

Our sister brand .station will be the place for events now. Blending jungle and jazz together in a new format - we had some amazing reviews from our event in April and want to continue this theme on for the foreseeable!

This isn’t to say we’ll never do events again! We love the people and the party, but the kurb events are on hold for now.

Big love to the knees up crew, we’ll catch you in the dance soon 🕺💃🕺💃

This is a bitter sweet post… the final kurb event at :(

First of all, big up the ravers who have come to these and made these possible ❤️❤️

We’re going big for our finale by bringing in the fellas to set up their rig in the crown. We cannot wait to showcase all our talent on this outstanding bit of kit 🕺🕺

We have .yz headlining with supporting from kurb, with the Wob Mob head honchos Bill + Charlie playing too.

He’s been making waves in the hardcore scene recently, we spoke to him about some topics, check it out!! Unfortunately his favourite track wasn’t on Apple Music so couldn’t put it in, but here’s one of his own productions alongside Cheetah with their alias - Frisbee Aerobics.

TWO SOLD OUT SHOWS IN ONE WEEK !!

A quick message from the crew here at kurb. to say a massive thank you to everyone who came through and showed love last week.

Thursday night at was stacked head to toe with Jungle ‘n’ Hardcore from the likes of , , , and
Big vibes & plenty of dubs made it a real knees-up!

You lot brought some serious energy, we couldn’t be more gassed.

And then there was Saturday…
What can we say about Saturday?!

It turns out 3 Jazz musicians, 7 DJs & a s**t load of Vinyl, equates to pure, unadulterated vibes!!

If you were there, you’ll know what we’re on about.

3 hours of rolling breaks and old school atmospherics, elevated to the point of perfection by the insanely talented , and

A huge shout to , and for gracing us with their impeccable selections, to for shelling out an impromptu 30 and of course to our residents here at kurb.

Lastly, out to for making sure the whole of stokes knew what they were missing.

Something special went on here, & we’re still beaming!

VINYL ONLY JUNGLE JAZZ NIGHT WITH kurb.
At Elemental Cafe, Stokes Croft, Bristol.

Jungle and Jazz have many similarities and crossovers, with the likes of LTJ Bukem paving the way for this style of Jungle.

We present to you 3 amazing musicians for the first instalment...





Miranda plays the Violin with various collectives and bands including Joely June, Boci, James Storm and has her own collective called TV Milfs.

Secondly, we have Walter who plays in the collectives; Semper and Tanhai. Semper recently released a remix EP featuring a couple of Jungle remixes. One of those being from our very own Head Honcho BRUK.

Last but not least, we have Clara Slater on the Trombone. She plays with Hot piece Of Brass who will have just got back from touring The Alps when this event starts.

All DJs will be exclusively mixing vinyl.

All money raised will go to MND Association
