A good friend has built a sound system with his son recently and us dads are going to crank it up and play some records at Tapestry By PROPS on Friday 13th September, BRISTOL. Its an early one 6-10pm. Expect a wide variety of very good records to be played in all of the styles!!!

I've not posted much about my last release 'Wedmore 91' but thanks to you listeners out there. A big thanks also to SulisHana for her amazing footage from the amazing Wedmore Free Party back in 91. Some notable moments in the video: Footage of the late great Simon DK from DIY at the decks - no centre stage back then - no wavy DJ arms etc. no doubt in part because we all couldn't quit beleive what we were hearing, feeling and seeing in the faces of those around us, that there was no need to watch the DJ. But what a DJ !

Hope all you non Glastonbury goers who are brave enough to be looking at FB this weekend are good. I have particularly enjoyed Heilung, ( but have largely been avoiding peoples photo posts to reduce my FOMO effect!)

I am here to say I have a new Red Lion Disco tune out on 19th July , which is a jazzy breakbeat number. Its title 'Wedmore 91' is due to the vibe of the track reminding me of the legendary Wedmore Free party back in 91. I love how sound systems outdoors have an added 3D sound as you move around the party, the way the sound shifts on the wind and becomes this incredible sonic landscape. At Wedmore there were loads or people with whistles call and responding around the party which added to that spatial sensation and it just sounded incredible. There is a little bit of that 'live vibe' to this tune (even though otherwise it is not overly early rave in vibe!!) Add it to your spotify Pre-Saves, if you fancy and it will pop up on the 19th July when it comes out. xx Jules.

Hello there on this lovely sunny Friday !
In just over a week, on Monday 22nd April @ The Mount Without in Bristol, Sarah and I are putting on a SIlent Disco Yoga session. I will post some videos of Sarah explaining the Yoga side of things in more detail. Its open to all abilities and will start chilled and ambient, gradually warming into a rhythmic yoga flow, building into a free dance shake out and then calming back to an ambient meditation.
Its our first event so we would love you to come and try it out. The Venue is beautiful !
