Laurie Holloway, the former musical director of such as Parkinson and Strictly Come Dancing, has died aged 86.

The pianist and composer was well known to a generation of TV viewers, and also worked with singers such as Petula Clark, Tom Jones and Englebert Humperdinck.

Laurie has eight works with Clifton Edition.

He was a fabulous character — a joy to work with and we're proud to publish his music.

The Compositions series by Graham Lyons has unfortunately been unavailable for months.

But now, fully redesigned and freshly typeset, they have been relaunched by Clifton Edition. Each volume now includes their respective piano accompaniments within each book.

These new editions are available as either printed books or as immediate downloads.

The original optional backing tracks have been upgraded and are free to download.

Popular with the ABRSM, Trinity and LCME exam boards, these wonderful, timeless tunes are back!

This year’s show was on February 22nd and 23rd, 2024 at the Business Design Centre, Islington.

Clifton Edition are distributed by established English publishers Stainer and Bell and many thanks are due to them who organised the stand, as well as the many attendees at the show who made it a much more up-beat occasion than last year. It was a super opportunity to catch up with composers, teachers, publishers and musicians from around the world.

Roll on next year’s show, which is 30 & 31 January 2025!
