RAILWAY LAND PRESS is an independent publisher of innovative, illustrated books. We publish books for children and grown-up children.

Our tracks are laid on the beautiful designs of the past, while our lines point towards the digital stations of the future. The Railway Land is a place both of tradition and of imagination, where we can explore different publishing models as the platforms upon which to build books that we would wish to own. We are passionate about our planet and its natural history, literature, popular culture, ar

t and design. We are not in a hurry, we have been on this journey long enough to know that good publishing requires thought and care, and the time to gaze occasionally out of the window at the passing landscape. We want to hear what you think of our books. And we wish to find new ways of working with writers and editors, artists and photographers, where everyone on the team is pulling in the same direction.
