Party FOMO warning!
Last week we hosted our 10th birthday party at beautiful Soho House here in Brighton. It was the perfect way to mark our journey from 0-10. Our wonderful clients, collaborators and friends brought their party A-game, and their best dance moves.
Huge thanks to our band, Starling, featuring producer Angeline Elliott, for an incredible live set, and to our in-house DJ Dan Mellor.
Here are some highlights!
Would it even be our 10th birthday if we didn’t create a film about our journey so far?!
There are a few sore heads around here today. Last night a dazzling array of our clients and collaborators joined us at Soho House here in Brighton to celebrate a decade of MOREVER in style.
It was wonderful 🩷🩷
One of the highlights of the evening was being able to watch this birthday film with an audience. Our in-house creative team (especially Kazz Thompson) worked their magic and packed 10 years of highlights into just a few, action-packed, minutes.
Have a watch…

🎺 🎺 New Work 🎺 🎺
It was an honour to create this film for The King's Foundation’s Building a Legacy network.
The objective of Building a Legacy is to create communities for a more sustainable world by promoting an alternative to the traditional way of building housing estates.
With this film we wanted to show that ‘legacy development’ is very achievable - it works for people and places, both now and into the future.
The film advocates for the unique approach taken by The King’s Foundation. The charity works with landowners to create developments that champion sustainability, benefit existing communities, and create new projects which are more environmentally, creatively, socially and economically progressive than those in more traditional housing developments.
To create the film, our crew more or less ‘moved in’ to two of the developments: Poundbury in Dorset and Tournagrain near Inverness, for several days, so that they could embed themselves in the community. We wanted to show what it’s genuinely like to live there, so they recorded over 30 local people sharing their thoughts and captured many hours of footage of the locally distinctive architecture and community enhancing spaces.
In the final edit, we included a rich mix of talking head testimonial, expert opinion, vox pops and cinematic b-roll footage which we captured using a drone.
To quote Ben Bolgar, Executive Director, at The King’s Foundation:
“The legacy landowner movement could restore that balance with nature to make beautiful places that future generations will be proud of.”
This is the social cut of the film, you can see the full length version on our website.

Baby Loss Awareness Week (9–15 October 2024) is an important opportunity to break the silence around pregnancy and baby loss so that families get the support that they need.
Our work for Tommy's , the pregnancy and baby charity, highlights some of the misconceptions around the loss of a baby. We think it's important this week to share the film again in the hope that these myths can be eradicated.
We would also like to express our heartfelt support for anyone who has experienced the loss of a baby.
It's our 10th birthday month! To celebrate, we're posting Top 10s throughout October...
When our film crew travel to location, they arrive armed with a detailed plan of what they need to capture on film.
But, you never know what golden moment might happen on set, so they also need to be ready for anything. That's why we come prepared with what might seem like a huge amount of kit!

Today, we're sharing the tools of our trade. The Top 10 kit items that we never travel without.
What do Tutankhamun, Edinburgh and the cast of Othello have in common?
They all feature within the books on this year’s Bookbuzz shortlist!
Most of the MOREVER team are avid readers. That’s why one of our favourite projects is the creation of the film for the excellent Bookbuzz programme created by reading charity, @booktrust, which we’ve just delivered for the third year in a row.
Schools can buy this programme for children in Year 7 or 8. The objective of the programme is to help schools support reading amongst children aged 11 - 13, when daily reading typically drops off as they start secondary school.
Students get to choose their own book to keep from a list of 16 exciting and engaging books titles, all selected by a panel of experts.
The film is an aid for teachers to help them deliver the Bookbuzz programme in the classroom. It showcases each of the books on the shortlist.
The production process involved interviewing each of the authors as they pitch their book to the audience and weaving this film footage together with eye-catching animations, a lengthy soundtrack, graphics from the book covers, and narration by Lucas Richmond.
Here are some selected highlights from this year’s film.
