This collection navigates the myriad forms of loss, from the simplest to the most intricate—bearing witness to memorable sentences, infused with raw farewells meant to epitomise the intersection that separates our beautiful existence; the delicate balance between life and grief.

This gorgeous collaboration delves into the shared tapestry of the artists’ respective heritages, unearthing the profound connections between the Maqams and intricate melodies of Arabic song, and Ladino music, carried by Iberian Jews as they fled the Inquisition, all elegantly reimagined with a twist.

We're proud to present a night with Brighton's legendary Zimbabwean mbira player, master musician, spiritual healer and cultural practitioner Linos Wengara Magaya and Zimbaremabwe Mbira Vibes.

Zimbaremabwe carry the torchlight for Zimbabwean traditional music in the UK. Lead by Linos, they play 'Chimurenga' music, a fast paced and distinctive genre of music unique to Zimbabwe. Their sound is rich with singing melodic guitars, complex polyrhythms and the perpetual heartbeat of a bass drum.
