Records released on labels such as Moving Shadow and Metalheadz, carved DnB's future as a genre and culture during the year. Distinct sounds emerged from DJ's and producers that blended ambience and dancefloor energy.
The previously underground club culture, became a worldwide phenomenon with ripple effects across mainstream music, proving that Drum and Bass is more than a genre. It's a lifestyle.

Bukem in the early and mid-90s was flawless, leading the charge in ‘intelligent jungle’. His own tunes from that era are layered with gorgeous atmospherics and beautiful soundscapes. LTJ Bukem has been one of the integral forces who has helped shaped Drum and Bass into the genre we know today ⚔️
