I remember buying this lovely Terry Callier comp when it came out back in ‘92. This morning is the first time in about 25 years that I’ve found both discs at the same time and reunited them in their sleeve together. Looking forward to playing some TC at Shamboogie The Great Eastern this afternoon, the weather is looking great, no occasional rain, so let the sunshine in!

Yes! It’s here at last. Super Natural by has been one of my favourite listens of the last year, soulful, funky country built on close-harmony singing and an honest and heartfelt appreciation of the history of the music. Produced by , who also sings with the boys on the title track, the album also features on the band’s cover of Steve Young’s classic, Seven Bridges Road. This album came out quite a while ago, last year in fact, but the vinyl has taken a while in production. Now, it is finally here, and it was certainly worth the wait. I’m going to be hammering this at Whiskey Preachin this Friday and for a long time to come. I have been playing the bands song The Conversation from their second, eponymous album since it was released in 2022, now it’s time for some Super Natural action. Huge thanks to for asking his guys to send me my copy of the LP. Massive respect 🥃
