🎉 Some big news at The Connected Set, we've officially launched our new animation studio - Spud Gun Studios 🎉
We've been making short-form, youth-focused animation for nearly a decade now and with a new 18-month contract from Channel 4 freshly signed for our award-winning animation channel Mashed, along with a whole host of brand deals and partnerships in the pipeline, we're excited the news is finally out there.
A big thank you to everyone in the Channel 4 team for their continued belief in Mashed as it turns 10 later this month! The team are already working on some incredible new series, episodes and music videos along with a brand new initiative launching in the next few weeks.
We're already working with a number of brand partners to create original animations for their own channels and networks. If you work for a brand that needs animation, manage talent that have an exciting animation idea, or you're a writer with the next hit animation, get in touch with us at www.spudgunstudios.com to discuss more.
Follow us to stay up to date with all our latest projects!

It was great to work with The Royal Foundation to produce some amazing social content that shines an optimistic light on our path out of homelessness in the U.K. The Homewards Programme is a really important cause and one that TCS is delighted to support.

🎄 HAPPY HOLIDAYS 🎄
Thanks to our brilliant teams, clients, contributors and suppliers for their support this year. 🙏
While we’re enjoying our festive break we appreciate this time of year can be hard for some people, particularly those in the LGBTQ+ community who might be facing hostility from their family, and so we have made a company donation to The Albert Kennedy Trust to help them deliver support services to young LGBTQ+ people facing or experiencing homelessness this Christmas. 🏳️🌈

Everybody loves a good podcast, right?
In this hilarious new original series for Channel 4's social platforms we've tasked a group of comedians to create brand new podcasts with a BIG twist: none of them are real! In this nail-biting prank series, unsuspecting celebrity guests think they’ve been invited onto the latest hot podcast, but they’re about to realise things are going to get weird. How far can our comics push them until they crack, figure it out, or simply walk out of the studio?
Episodes drop weekly on Channel 4 Comedy's YouTube channel. Last week was Olympian Nile Wilson, and tomorrow's drop is the brilliant Chelsee Healey, with more episodes in the week ahead.
Featuring lead comedians Luke McQueen, Lily Phillips and Erika Ehler, supported by fellow comics and actors Rachel Stubbings, Esther Manito, Bella Hull and Toby Manley, and made by a brilliant production team at The Connected Set, we're super proud of this one and it's a great way to end 2021.
Please check it out tomorrow evening and every Friday (search 'Channel 4 Comedy' on YouTube). Thanks and Merry Christmas!

Our first E4 Teens digital series is live. "Can't Look Away" is a 6 part digital series for E4 that takes six famous gamers and sets them the challenge of playing iconic console games without losing their focus as some ridiculous distractions unfold around them. As the gamers play, specialist eye tracking technology measures their concentration. To win it's simple, they... Can’t Look Away!
Featuring popular gamers Daz Black, Leahviathan, Imogen Mellor, Ella Cronin, Chocolate Kieran and Tommy Rage of 2AngryGamers, the series plays out with bespoke edits for YouTube, Snapchat, Instagram, TikTok and a live stream event on Twitch.
It was great fun to make - thanks to our production teams, E4 and 4Studio for making this happen.
