Two years ago I had the pleasure of recording artist Martha May's vocals and guitars to her Eurovision entry song 'Distance' representing Croatia.

It was incredibly sad but powerful to return to play music with the musicians I was in a band with back in 2006-2007 following the loss of our then singer Nick Moore Jr. We performed using a backing track of Nick's vocals, which made it incredibly moving for his friends and family who came to perform/watch the all-day music event dedicated to his memory.

Nick was a very talented and fantastic performer who unfortunately lost his battle with addiction. Something I have also experienced issues with and is so common in the music industry.

RIP Nick, you will be missed by many.

Yesterday, two short films 'Between us' and 'The Shore of Promises' were showcased at Komedia, Brighton.

I have been working on the post-production team for both films over the past 6 months, and it was a real privilege to work with so many talented people and to see the final results on the big screen.

Today marked my final part in producing audio for the short film "The Shore of Promises'. I recorded the final piece of dialogue (ADR), with actress Jill Stanford in London.

For this project I created sound FX, Foley and met the actresses to re-record dialogue, I also mixed the 150+ channel project.

This will be shown in the Duke of York cinema, Brighton, later in the year.

While I have been busy volunteering my post-production skills to Master's degree students at Brighton Film School, another side project has begun to grow. The ambient music projects I am collaborating on with producer Eone are being released through a good record label and more will be coming soon following some management strategies.

I now have two Spotify accounts and have re-vamped my original university work albums for re-release. These were overthought at the time (I was under substantial mental pressure during the pandemic and trying to score well academically), but they now make a little more sense to a new listener.

I will share more soon, but please follow my new M.A Spotify account for the electronic music I am creating which will be more commercial - this name will be used for the more downtempo/dance/electronica creations as well as the ambient atmospheric music.
