I have some interesting short film work on the go this summer. Two Brighton-based short films, 'Between Us', and 'The Shore of Promises' and another project directed by Ashley Artus, an actor who appeared in Harry Potter. Looking forward to sharing more about these as the projects unfold. Also, more music releases are on the horizon.

Tonight I went to visit my old university and listen to Fatboy Slim discuss many elements of his music career and creative production process, it was truly inspiring.

As someone who has lived in Brighton for a decade, I know how much his presence and career success has impacted the energy of this place. I was also lucky to have seen him live at the Amex Stadium in 2011 when it first opened.

He's now 60 and still selling out world tours and is a very funny bloke ! A real 90s legend.

This is what just 45 minutes of my work mixing a Pop artist's Demo song looks like, condensed down into 1 minute.

Music producers do not get enough credit for the immense amount of work and knowledge undertaken to make everything sound perfect, and there is always such a great deal of pressure to do this. It takes many years of dedication, financial sacrifice, learning and practice to achieve such high standards.

2023 was a year filled with huge challenges and amazing moments.
From completing a Masters degree to visiting Abbey Road Studios, I am shellshocked by the outcome of how much music means to me and grateful for every bit of this journey.
It is everything to me and all that I have focused on for so many years, so I can confirm that any kind of success with it does not come easy.
I have immense gratitude for those who teach others what they know and help to increase creativity and productivity.

My only hope is to find my place in the industry in 2024 and continue to build upon what I have achieved so far. Massive thanks to all the artists, musicians and mentors that I have worked with in 2023 and to BIMM London for making all of this possible !! 🙏🏻🎧❤️😎

On 16th November 2023, I was invited to spend the day at Abbey Road Studios by the incredibly talented Mastering engineer Oli Morgan. Words cannot describe how incredible this place in terms of history and prestige, it was mind-blowing.
I was also incredibly lucky to hear the new Beatles single in the mastering suite, the surround sound version, which Oli had mastered🙏🏻

Yesterday, I Spent 8 hours at Abbey Road Studios; this is undoubtedly the most incredible experience I have had on this journey. I was lucky enough to sit in and assist Oli Morgan, a talented Mastering Engineer and great guy, while he Mastered an album ,two singles, and carried out some additional surround-sound editing.

At the end of the session, Oli played me the new Beatles single, which he had also Mastered, in Dolby Atmos (Surround sound), which is currently number 1 in the charts. Earlier in the day, I had stood in both Studios 1 & 2, so to hear this song played by him in the place it was recorded was probably the most incredible thing I have experienced in my entire music career. Totally shell-shocked today....!
