What a way to kick off 2025! ❄️ From braving the snow to training the fantastic comms teams at Sussex Police and community groups with Elmbridge Council, it's been a whirlwind month.

Mel enjoyed an incredible Women of AgencyLand event (shoutout to the amazing Ellie Hale for hosting!), plus some seriously eye-opening employment law training with Sarah May—so much knowledge, she thought her brain might actually burst. 🤯

Oh, and let’s not forget the real highlight… Sarah and her giant strawberry. 🍓😂

We've returned to the scene of the crime! 😬

Almost seven years after James ditched his badge at Sussex Police to co-found Social Firefly with Mel, they were summoned back to HQ (voluntarily, promise).

Stepping into the building felt like a weird time warp—everything looked just as it did back then, except for the unexpected flood of hugs from old colleagues and friends (not your standard office greeting back in the day!).

We had great fun running a social media workshop for the communications and marketing team. Fingers crossed they enjoyed it as much as we did—can't wait to see how they put it all into action!

For those who don’t know, Mel and James were at Sussex Police together from 2015 to 2018 and hit it off when working on a campaign together.

New year, new job ✨🤩 Congratulations to Rosie, who has been promoted to Social Media Content Creator.

After one year and eight months of Social Media Assistanting it was clear our TikTok creating, craft loving, marketing award finalist Rosie had the chops to move up and take on more responsibility.

Her work across multiple clients, including Toupret UK, One Acre Fund, and driving our own social media forward, has been exceptional, and as we move into 2025 we're looking forward to see her creative skills grow as she expands her clients list.

Congratulations Rosie and thank you for being part of our team. 😊
