Tetris Nos is based on a Russian folk tune called Korobeiniki, more famously known as the theme tune in the iconic 80's game 'Tetris'.

This piece creates the feeling of reaching higher levels in the game, getting faster and more exciting.

Nice new skins for the summer season of brass band gigging

Had a great weekend of music, having the pleasure to hear 2 world premieres, on the same day, within 500m of each other! What are the chances!

First was a piece called 'Planets' that my son and I wrote, and I later arranged for his youth brass band. They did a great job learning the music, which they seem to enjoy playing.

Then with a bit of running, I made the end of New Music Brighton Guitar concert to hear 'Nightly Dreams' being performed by the Brighton Guitar Group, which was well played and I received some nice comments after.

Thanks to all involed in bringing my music to life!

What a successful New Music Brighton concert that was today. Thank you to all who came along, it was nice to see some young musicians in the audience.
A long but varied and enjoyable concert with some lovely home baked treats in the interval.
