A rewarding morning for our Client Relationship Director and ex Series Producer Kirsty Painter co-hosting the 'Introduction to Post Production for SPs and PMs' for ScreenSkills.

A big thanks to the incredibly talented (and expert in all things production) Viki Carter for co-creating and delivering.

At Virtual Post we strive to de-mystify the post production process and foster great relationships with our creative partners - and delivering this course is a great example of that!

Looking forward to next week's individual sessions for SPs and PMs to get into the nitty gritty of post and the curveballs it can throw at a production.

Head over to Channel 4 this evening for Crackit Productions' fantastic new series A Key to a Fortune (full post-production by Virtual Post).

Each year in the UK, millions of pounds worth of vacant homes sit unclaimed. These hidden treasures belong to ordinary people, unknowing inheritors to treasured estates that were once owned by a distant relative who left no will. In this transformational series hosted by TV presenter Jean Johansson, families are reunited with homes – and relatives they didn’t know they had.

Happy International Women’s Day!

Virtual Post is celebrating, applauding AND raising a glass to its wonderful team of talented women. They deliver the very best in post-production practice and we’re very proud.

Head of Pictures Phillippa is one of a handful of female finishers in the country, and we’re lucky enough to have not one but 2 female online editors with Marta working remotely from sunny Spain. Edit Assistants Natasha & Jasmine not only have incredible technical expertise, but their blossoming online/editing skills mean they are ones to watch in the future! The Bookings team’s Tina, Isabel & Lindsey offer second to none professional, unflappable support to our clients. And Ann makes our Brighton HQ the warm, welcoming facility we all love to work in.

Virtual Post is shining a celebratory spotlight on the fabulous female members of our team ahead of Friday’s International Women’s Day. And we are very proud to say that we have a female finishing artist AND Head of Picture - a rarity in the world of online post production! Introducing Phillippa Beasley-Swanson:

“I’ve worked as Head of Picture at Virtual Post for 15 months now, after making the move from London to Brighton with my family - before that I was Senior Finishing Artist at The Finish Line. I am the proud owner of VP’s resident sausage dog ‘Bradley’ who can often be found snoring in the grade.

The times I enjoy my job the most are when I am able to work with other women to create something memorable.

Brighton is a great place to live and work, and if you’re visiting, check out Noodles Soup on West Street. I Love snorkelling in the sea in the warmer months, but top of my Bucket List is to one day climb to Everest base camp.”
