The team at Heart and Soul Films are really proud to have supported Anti-Worlds and Writer/Director Caroline Catz with the making of Delia Derbyshire: The Myths and the Legendary Tapes.

This docudrama explores the life of the electronic musician and sound pioneer, best known for creating the iconic Doctor Who theme tune, which remained uncredited in her lifetime.

Told through a rich archive, interviews, fictional embodiment and a magnificent score by Cosey Fanni Tutti, this film shows the many facets of Delia’s life and highlights her struggles with being a musical trailblazer and female outsider in post war Britain.

Delia Derbyshire: The Myths and the Legendary Tapes will screen on BBC4 on Sunday 16th May at 9pm. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000w6tr
