The Telegraph & Argus is the leading trusted news source for the city of Bradford in West Yorkshire, UK. Alongside our online news platform www.telegraphandargus.co.uk we still produce a daily newspaper.
The T&A, as it’s known in the city, can trace its direct history back to 1868 when the Bradford Daily Telegraph - the city's first daily newspaper and forerunner of today's T&A - appeared on the streets costing a halfpenny a copy (about £1.47 at today's prices!)
Its newspaper roots, however, go back to the birth of the Bradford Observer, in 1834, a title which - in the shape of the Yorkshire Observer - was amalgamated in to the Telegraph & Argus in 1956.
