It's all about the details. Really pleased with the finished "old mill look" on this set I created for the Unify festival's "Cars, Culture and Cinema". The galvanised trunking really sets it off.

April was so busy, I didn't have time to post pictures of our staff awards ceremony. I really love the final look we got with the studio floor and the stars built by our amazing joinery team using cabochon LEDs.

A new permanent gallery is going in for our news studio, with single mode fibre links between the two rooms. Looking a bit of a state at the moment, as everything's just on test prior to full installation!
Setup includes a 24 channel digital sound desk with IP over fibre digital snake and mixing automation for single person operation, autocue, 4 channel Skype TX for remote callers / outside locations and a Telex talkback system.

Part 1 of a busy week - set extension going in for social distancing of larger number of studio guests.

It's all looking a bit bare in the studio this week, as the rig is extended for easier socially distanced seating lighting positions. The DMX lighting control cabling is also being revised, cyclorama lights are rehung to make better use of the white backdrop and extra lights are going up so two different lit sets can be used at either end of the studio.
