We have been asked to help out a private event by finding them a premium Bournemouth based cover/tribute band complete their line up. The event is on Saturday 20th July in Bournemouth.

[ 2024 update ]

Is it too late for a HAPPY NEW YEAR?! Probably.

Things have started well for us here at Blue Line, the Room 2 refit is ALMOST complete and we can’t wait to show you! 👀

Also, we are super happy to announce that ALL our room rates are staying the same for another year running!! You may have noticed a slight change to the rates following the move to the online system, but this was only to save our hourly rates being silly prices (eg £10.32134 per hour).

🌟NEW ONLINE BOOKING SYSTEM🌟

Over the coming weeks we will be heavily promoting our new online booking system, it’s something that’s been in the works for a VERY long time. It will allow you to book and manage your own bookings and see availability up to 3 months in advance.

It’s available through our website, in the bookings tab.

[ CALLING ALL DRUMMERS ]

We have a wide selection of drum kits available for both solo practice and in our band rooms.

Cymbal sets are also available to hire for an additional fee of just £5. All kits include a snare drum, hardware and a 2 up 1 down tom configuration as standard.

[ We're so .co.uk ]

After almost 13 years (!) we've finally secured the .co.uk domain for Blue Line Studios, which is a very small victory for me, as if I'm honest I've always found the .org.uk domain to be a bit second rate. By the way, the .com costs over £3,000 per year for context...

There are loads of improvements and upgrades coming to both online and in the studio, which I'm really excited to start revealing over the coming weeks! But first, lets celebrate the (very) small victories...!

🚨STUDIO SECURITY🚨

Whilst we do everything we can to ensure your safety and security, we would always advise customers to ensure your vehicles are kept locked while using our facilities.

We are aware the crime rate is increasing in the area and we want to highlight this in order to prevent our customers being victims of theft.

Whilst we do have CCTV installed both inside and out, it’s always best to not have to need it.

Keep cars & bikes locked.

[ MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR ]

For me, Christmas time is always a time for reflection, I always look back over the year and see what has gone well or not so well, it’s also the only time of the year where my phone & laptop go off.

2022 has been an incredible year for Blue Line. We’ve seen a return to some sort of normality and have met so many new musicians starting new bands, which is amazing. I love the passion and energy you see when a new band starts.

I want to take this opportunity to thank every single one of you who has supported us this year.

Make sure you enjoy some rest over the coming days but also make exciting plans for 2023, we certainly are!

We are proud to announce that even though the cost of everything else is rising we are keeping our prices exactly THE SAME for the next 12 months, all rooms are £10 per hour at our Off Peak times, see below:

Mon-Fri 10am-6pm

Being a drummer can be hard, we’re here to make it a little easier. For just £5 an hour you can come and play a real acoustic drum kit and make as much noise as you like, without the worry of neighbours calling the police.

Our dedicated drum room is set up and ready for you, you can even hire our in-house cymbals for an additional £5 if you need to.

We’re looking for some new blood in these walls, someone who has a huge passion for music, loves meeting people and cares about bands / gear and all that sweet stuff.

⛔️ CLOSED ⛔️

This has been the hardest call yet guys, it’s not the post I wanted to write.

From Wednesday evening (6th Jan) we will be closing our doors for the foreseeable future, we feel this is only option left.

We hope things will begin to look better as we head into spring and we will be in a position to fully reopen again, so keep an eye out for future posts.

As always, thank you for your support and loyalty during these difficult times.
